that's a bold statement, considering how I remember people were saying candy/nyph was one of, if not the best, bot duos in EU not all that long ago. By that I meant, they were really good like...6 months ago. | ||

Obviously if said farmed jungler runs in and gets trundled ulted and dies it doesn't count. You have to assume reasonably intelligent play. You should run pure AD on trundle probably, getting arpen is not worth losing jungle clear time. Camps don't have much armour, the 6 in offensive usually does the trick. | ||

Because pros have no trouble focusing targets, which is something that Skarner enables your team to do in solo queue. Otherwise he's not especially more powerful than the other strong junglers. I find that Skarner just doesn't offer as much utility in team fights, especially vs organized teams. As we saw in Kiev, it's not easy for Skarner to go and grab their carry. In solo queue, people get caught out of position, people don't protect the carry, carries get baited, etc. In competitive play, this doesn't happen as much, so a lot of team fights Skarner just ends up grabbing Irelia or Lee Sin and it doesn't do anything. | ||

As others have already said skarner punishes bad play. A carry out of position is an easy kill of skarner can get an ult off. Tobad pro players dont allow themselves to get into these positions very often. Its the same reason a lot of other solo queue stompers arnt played in tournaments. The amount of mistakes made is very small and champions who need those mistakes to work rapidly fall in usefullness. The same can also be seen just in solo Q. Champions that stomp through lesser players like xin zhoa for a long time where never picked higher up the ladder because people just play better. | ||

Q - Is this single target or AOE? Is it a skillshot? W - Looks great vs melee champs. Toss it right between you and that could create a long gap. Depending on the cast range and knockback range, this could also be a good initiate E - If you throw it on an enemy, does it detonate right away? R - Large AoE that does pure damage? Looks great for pub stomping. | ||
