It also seems like it would totally remove the LoL macro strategy, i.e. "cool theres 4 top lets defend it and push bot." TP has its gives and takes. The CD is reasonably long, so it is possible to bait TPs and abuse the fact that certain enemy team members will have limited mobility for the next minute. It also alters the dynamics of tower trades--since outer towers can be more valuable than inner towers due to how they move you further out.
Also, TP scroll channel time increases successively by 2 seconds for every TP previously targeted in that area in the last 25 seconds. So even a team mass-TPing to defend a tower is not something you do as completely reactionary. The first guy will appear in 3 seconds, and the 5th guy will take a full 11 seconds for his TP to finish. With that long of a spread, half your team will be dead before you get there if you all TP onto a tower that's getting hit. So again, if you want to team-defend a tower, you have to TP pretty early--potentially getting those TPs baited--or use Glyph, and TP to the tower behind it, but Glyph is on a 5 minute CD, so managing it is non-trivial.

Well Teemo did well this game pushing out at least one enemy in fights not dying so lots of mushrooms for vision. TSM up on tower kills and baron. TOO making it clear how much he hates teemo and fat people despite how well they're doing. EDG surrenders. TSM loses because they surrender right after EDG does.
TSM scrimming Goose next.
Talking about "R" comps now.

Saint knows without knowing, he's always got oracles on.
Also does anyone remember how people open jungle singed? I did regrowth pend and potion but I felt kind of weak by getting to wraiths the 2nd time and skipping red. Mind you I did kind of on the spot the jungle singed so I was sorta winging it.

CLG behind in kills 9-12 in an arranged 5. Doublelift keeps getting ganked bot and rest of lanes keep killing each other. Now up in towers taking out 4-1. Yep now they're definitely winning.
TSM not scrimming I guess. Not sure why it was cancelled.

I'm really confused about this, why not just have the upgraded versions by default? Nothing more annoying than going back and having to reset everything for one mastery point switch, I don't see how I as a player am getting more fun out of putting one point in these things or not. It's not even a meaningful choice because the alternative is almost always worthless.
Things I do like: - Pretty much everything else, the new trees are just more usable than the old ones, there's less garbage and i like having the offense tree be a viable caster option. How is the defence tree bad exactly? Sure mercenary/honorguard are bad but initiator/enlightenment seem okay, and Juggernaut looks a lot stronger than the top offense mastery. Plus the lower tier masteries are good enough that you can easily get to 21 off them - 6 armour/mr, veterans scars, 3 hp5, then initiator/enlightenment/juggernaut. How is that bad?
just not that much gold value

I still don't understand the new jungle. I really feel there needs to be more math on this.
I suspect there actually is a paucity of gold in the jungle simply because gp10 is so attractive at the moment - this would point to gold being a giffen good out of the jungle. On the other hand it could simply be a result of less protracted combat coming out of the jungle and the creeps not really being a threat, which is the kind of thing that tends to make laners build gp10... or it could be something else. I don't know. I have no clue what you're saying about the Utility tree, what do you mean by poor readability?
I'm referring to the concept of opacity, which in the sense I learned it is simply whether the rule set of a game indicates a clear path to optimal play. For example, imagine chess in which it becomes clear very quickly after you've learned the rules that you want to control the center of the board. Now imagine some incredibly complex hobby game in which you have no clear sense until you've played hundreds of games what indicates whether a move is good or bad. There might not even be a general guideline for the quality of a move, you might have to individually calculate each alternative according to a mathematical formula rather than narrowing it down by saying 'this kind of move tends to be good'.
That's a lot of text for what's actually a very small complaint but the gist is, look at a 21 offense hero and tell me exactly how much benefit they are getting and how good the masteries are, and look at a 21 utility hero and it'll be much harder to explain. Sage looks like garbage, but unless I look up the experience tables and see it'll take 15 kills/assists to go halfway from level 10 to 11 I'm basically just guessing that because 40 'looks' like a small number.

Given the limited info, some thoughts on Jax preview:
-Riot is using the Tryndamere model of softening the best/worse case scenarios -The cooldown on Jax's stun will be somewhat longer than 4.5 seconds (just call it a hunch) -This is a nerf to jungle Jax, since his first clear abuses the short cooldown + blue buff for big AoE dps. I doubt the stun will make up for it. -On-demand stun more useful versus ganks, trades, casters, etc.; Jax will be much harder to kill in lane -Jax must use both his survivability and CC skills at the same time, assuming there is no new passive on his E -He will be free to use any boots/runes without worrying about stun availability, probably see much more merc treads, though he can "use" any of them because he's Jax. -Jax is going to poop all over low-level players and may be subject to Xin Zhao syndrome.
Conceptually, I really like the idea of an active counter-strike, and will probably continue maining Jax regardless of the numbers.

It'll probably be like typical Jax: wildly overpowered until they nerf it and then nobody will play him again.
Kit so problematic (free short cd mobility, high burst, high sustained damage).

Kit so problematic (free short cd mobility, high burst, high sustained damage). They already nerf him. Duration dodge is a huge nerf over having % dodge over an entire fight.

Not to mention that passive.
