Shyvana Udyr and Skarner all super super fast. Shaco fast too, but you don't farm jungle so I don't think that's what you're looking for. Shyvana I think is still the fastest because of how much crazy damage W does.

They hotfixed it to be 1000 rather than 1200, but the store still said 1200, so now it matches the actual price.

The original drop actually makes it pretty cost efficient.

I haven't played shyv in a while, but it used to be Boots +3, wriggles wit's end, fratmas situational. Or you could try that SV build that I never did where you open double doran's shield.

I forgot to mention full AS runes on red quint blue :3

I haven't played him in a few days, but here's my thoughts. There are really only two noticeable things, manga regen and Death Ray. That said, I don't think it'll make him super desirable in one patch. He's still good, but I almost just feel that other casters (including Swain prominently) do his job better. His biggest use right now is dropping W for team fights and Ulting squishy targets.

Better buffs would be increasing Q's missile speed (or making the shield instant), and/or increasing it's damage. Q is very underwhelming, overall.

Yi is total bullshit, never get proccs when I play him unless I have like 3 points in Q, makes me really sad.

afk jungle farming is stupid nowadays. junglers are just roamers with the ability to take buff camps. if you're not camping lanes like a giant asshole, you're doing it wrong.

Speaking of junglers, I'm such a bad Shaco player. Or unlucky, one of the two. I'll always end up sitting by a lane that has no ganking potential for like two minutes waiting for a good moment, and as soon as I walk away my teammate gets pushed to the tower.

Conversely, whenever I see all lanes pushed and decide to go steal a jungle camp is exactly when the enemy jungler and one of the laners decide to walk through the jungle at the same time and kill me before I can Deceive over the wall.

Too squishy for my playstyle, I guess.

Could you go into a bit more details about how you play him? I haven't been able to pick him a lot, and I mainly tried him top as I felt his mp5 would make him weak against pushers. I generally got more or less destroyed as his stun is nowhere near as good as Swain's Q, W, or Ryze's W (it's better on ganks, but not when some sustainable bruiser rushes you, esp against gap closers).

garen is somewhat analagous to a 4pool in starcraft
he's extremely strong out of the gate, but he's a bit of an all-in

that being said, i don't feel like any of these champions are "hardcounters" as you asked for - these are just things to think about when going against garen

I agree completely, I have a friend who has like a shit ton of games with him, easily one of the best garen players of all time. If you want to lane against a garen, here are some big tips. Garen's cooldowns are super long, abuse it. Bait his combo, and avoid the silence and the spin damage. Then burst all up in his shizznet, then back up and just farm again.

I'm not sure if this is the place for it or not, but someone brought up the TL LoL wiki earlier. Is there any reason that there can't be an "official" LoL wiki hosted on TL similar to the SC1 and SC2 wikis? If the rumors are true that the LoL subform may be getting an expansion somtime in the future, it seems fitting that perhaps the wiki gets moved in house.

So I thought you were suppose to get a level of E on Skarner pre-4, at least that's what I had seen in all the guides but SV is level ten and has yet to level it.

Level 13 gets his first level of E.

Mid... mid I had a Gragas. 'nuff said.

I generally tried to build him a bit tankier, something like Rylai's or WotA first -> Death Augment -> Rabadoodle/[WotA or Rylai's (whichever I didn't get)]. Death as augment, level E first, means you get some cheap AP and Death Ray hits like a bitch.

Worked pretty well for me. I'm not a great AP player, but I had mild to good success with this. You really only have 4 item slots (augment and boots taking the others, natch), so I found through trying all of them a handful of times that getting damage from Death and getting WotA and Rylai's for sustain/beef is nice. DC naturally, then Void Staff/DFG for damage, or Abyssal Scepter/Zhonya's for more defense.

Hell, I get it at 2, makes clearing quicker and gives sustain when farming. I guess if you're only ganking, you might want QW maxed first, but E is still pretty decent as far as damage goes.
