I'm in rough spot regarding LoL these days. Trying to play more drafts so that I can get myself to play more ranked someday, but always being 4th or 5th pick generally means I'm support or jungler (until I learn to play that free Alistar, that's only 4 champs for me, or non-standard "supports" ala Galio, Panth, Mao). When we get in full premades with buddies there are the ones who only play mids, the ones who only play mid/top (so you send them top), the ones playing whatever but not jungling, the ones not playing AD carry... well, same roles, ie jungling for me since we've got a godlike support.
The roles/champs I enjoyed the most appart from Maokai are top and mid, but I haven't been able to play some of them in more than a month (probably even more for Morgana), and whenever I try to get into a blind pick, either I pick w/o locking and have to switch because nobody else will do it, or we end up with 3 AP carries if I instalock before anybody else. :/

Really not quite enjoying myself. It seems like the more rewarding stuff I get is whenever I hop on my smurf and have somebody able to carry on our team, and I lead the team to force objectives and everybody plays together, with teamwork and buffs/dragons/etc. overcoming better comps/individual skill from our opponents. Don't get me wrong, those games feel great (last one was shurelya/aegis/wota support Nunu grabbing every drake for the team and tanking for Ahri/Orianna while Lee Sin carry us till they get farmed, when fighting Ryze/Akali/Talon/Jarvan), it's just... I know that won't last since that smurf's soon to hit 30.
Mid probably went from being my best role to my second worst, with the total absence of practice for months.


Bleh... I guess that could as well go to the QQ thread, even tho it's not talking about a particular game.

To stop derailing with my whining, which kind of champs can Singed be expected to do well against nowadays? It looks like most bruisers have enough sustain to be able to attack him and live through his poison, on top of outscaling him, plus there are the ones that are effective from the first levels (as opposed to, say, Irelia) and can abuse him before he gets his cata. Since he's got "negative" range (going behind minions to be sure to poison them all) and inherently pushes if he tries to not just last hit, he seems he's really prone to ganks or zoning when he's behind, except if he accepts to sacrifice his tower.
That, or I was doing bullshit when I could play him on a regular basis and now I've got to learn how to play him at my new level.

Reading over the past few pages I want to address rizzla's concern really quickly.

The current setup that we have in our humble LoL subforum happens to be the best layout I personally have in mind for an area that is simply one subforum large. There is whispers of possibly expanding our current subforum into three (we obviously have the traffic and content to warrant it). As Chiharu Harukaze (is that you Moon???) we do have a system setup. Without overflowing the subforum with numerous, minor content thread, we compile it into a megathread. It may not be very efficient but it is effective. Granted, I totally understand where you're coming from. These GD megathreads are a pain to sift through but it's due to our active community that the GDs generate so many posts. But if you enjoy what our subforum has to offer, reading 10+ pages of GD every morning ends up becoming a normal practice. I personally do it out of habit now and I'm fairly sure many of our users do the same.

That being said!
If any TL.netter have ideas on how to make our home easier to navigate or a better layout for discussion, I am always willing to listen. I design and moderate this subforum actively in what I think is most efficient, with what we are given.
