Yep everyone is nice and civil. Until you start talking about any of the following topics:
GP10 items Starks 4% crit mastery Arpen vs AD runes
If you sart a conversation on one of these topics, BE YE WARNED!!

This Riot5 site is pretty cool....but I see it has some stat that tracks normal rating? Supposedly mine has recently gone up 45? How is that calculated/does anyone know what it is? (I figure it probably has something to do with normal W/L ratio but since it gives varying amounts of 'rating' points for each game it must be more complicated than that...)

I actually agree with this. Opening the subforum itself created a huge influx of new players and, while I feel our "vet to newb"-ratio is still good I think a LOT of people enjoy that you read the same names here and there. It's cool to "know" each other.
Now that I think of it, the LoL forums are giving me what I'm missing ever since SC2 got released: TL = mah nerd family. <3
PS: Manamune panth new meta of the week.

Oh god I used to actually do manamune panth and thought it was good. The Chalice/zerkers thing as another thing that I used to do.
Then again, way back when I first started playing, manamune ashe was considered standard.

Some things seem to work when you are level 10.
My first two games of LoL ever was me building attack speed trist/tf and 1v5ing their team by stacking lifesteal, pub stomp dota style.

Shall we continue the discussion about IE vs PD first?

I think its worth mentioning that if you post false information about the game, no matter how insignificant, people will eat you alive.

I used to always open meki faerie charm on cait when I first started. I'm still kinda newby like that with my mana regen per 5 runes. When I first started though, there were people who never left lane no matter how likely they'd die to one of my q's.

I know it isn't standard, but I still sometimes build AS/AD TF every time I want to troll a normal game. Teleport to a bush. Yellow card. Crit crit crit. EzPz.

Happy Birthday Phrost.
Apparently the Korean invite tourney I've mentioned in the Pro Scene thread is going to be hosted by OGN. This is the tournament CLG has been invited to and chose to attend instead of IEM Kiev.

Hi everyone, I hope all of you are playing nice. :3
Reading over the past few pages I want to address rizzla's concern really quickly.
The current setup that we have in our humble LoL subforum happens to be the best layout I personally have in mind for an area that is simply one subforum large. There is whispers of possibly expanding our current subforum into three (we obviously have the traffic and content to warrant it). If that does happen, things could be split into small pieces, more specifically, this General Discussion thread.
As Chiharu Harukaze (is that you Moon???) we do have a system setup. Without overflowing the subforum with numerous, minor content thread, we compile it into a megathread. It may not be very efficient but it is effective. Granted, I totally understand where you're coming from. These GD megathreads are a pain to sift through but it's due to our active community that the GDs generate so many posts. But if you enjoy what our subforum has to offer, reading 10+ pages of GD every morning ends up becoming a normal practice. I personally do it out of habit now and I'm fairly sure many of our users do the same.
That being said! If any TL.netter have ideas on how to make our home easier to navigate or a better layout for discussion, I am always willing to listen. I design and moderate this subforum actively in what I think is most efficient, with what we are given.

Well, the old 1000-page Dota thread used to keep links to the beginnings of discussions/notable posts in the OP

Thats exactly how I've been using the GD thread, some very interesting discussion to be had. Just thinking on an idea for a different layout - what if we had a separate thread for discussion on all various skrims that are usually discussed in the GD... This would make it easier to find specific dicussion on past skrims easier, and easier read the GD retrospectively (like I mostly do, having not actually watched the skrims at the time, most of the comments make little sense). Would also allow the OP of the thread to have some information on the various skrims, and the teams involved, where to find the streams (something ive had trouble with) and other information to get more people interested in watching it.
