Played against maybe my first opponent knowing a bit of Riven yesterday (ie. not someone just mashing Q and trying to come after you till its cd is refreshed). Granted, it was a blind custom for fun and I didn't feel like playing Galio too seriously, but while I knew she was somewhat OP (due to how well aforementioned players did once farmed despite playing awfully)... wow, that trade power and "range" when E->Qing someone and properly interspacing AAs is just so obnoxious. Get two early db and she bursts for like half your health.

I don't really want other people to discover her before Riot does either. x)

Ahri's W is amazing, but it's pretty mediocre if you don't hit all 3 fox fires onto your target. It's pretty easy to fuck it up and miss 1~2 fox fires when you use it. Q definitely scales much harder into lategame tho. True damage means it's essentially doing double damage come lategame as most champs will have ~100 mres.

Q = less harass damage/more consistent
W = more harass damage/more inconsistent
E = weaker version of blitz hook on lower cd
R = fun!

Rammus stomps her in lane, just come to lane with lots of armour and it'll be kay. Depends on how well you can time your W's however. Could've been a really baaaaaaad Riven too who knows.

Whenever the server load is big, they cut out solo custom games. It should return to normal and you can test out he jungle sometime during the day probably.

I'm liking maxing W before Q.. W cd is low enough that mid game, you can get like two W's off. Where as with Q, if you miss it, the cd is long enough that you just feel silly.. Q definitely has better AoE potential but W>Q for bursting people down imo. Which is really what you should be doing. Maxing Q first makes me feel like AP Sivir.

If you get your E to hit, E>Q>W>R>R>R/W/ignite does some sick damage around lvl 9.

Chaox made her look broken OP if you lane her top and max W. Just walk near melee champs and zone them all day.

It's hard to tell how strong she is cause her laning is really fucking powerful. Not sure if people just aren't used to it or if it needs to be nerfed but she usually comes out of lane phase ahead of her opponent and then it can snowball from there.

Yah I agree that W is really strong. Me missing some W charges has probably partially to do with me only playing Ahri like...once and being bad. If you can consistently land 2+ out of the 3 fox fires then maxing W is definitely much much stronger than Q in lane.

He's playing on US now. I dunno how high ELO his smurf is and I'm too lazy to sign onto LoL to check. But, regardless, he wrecked an Irelia and is beating a Wukong pretty hard. Probably low ELO though, their team didn't pick up a support...

Also, Chaox said he likes doing two Dring => Rylai's cause the slow on Rylai's plus red with her W is tons of slow since W can hit three times.

how tough are her skillshots? I want to buy her but I do play with a high amount of latency. Her Q doesn't seem to be a problem since Im really comfortable with sivir.

As Galio you just gotta play real safe untill you get glacial shroud and stuff. Then it's cake to farm.

So I've played around 7-8 games with her. Maxing W is definitely better, because Q is too easy to dodge. About the builds - rushing RoA seems like you lack damage and dont have the power to pick up kills, so Im going mostly 2 dring into Dcap.
Though we strike at you from the shadows, do not think that we lack the courage to stand in the light.

As I said, that was for fun so I didn't feel like playing seriously (and he was a tryhard, picked Wukong and afk farmed w/o saying anything till he could 1v5 us the next game, where we did an all-demacian gank squad and just roamed the map and used Jarvan and wards to tp into their base all game ), but I don't think Galio should do good against her anyway. He can't kill her, can't really trade, only harass, and tho he's better at afk farming and pushing than her she just scales so much better she'd probably be content with it.
It's more that the sheer damage she was able to output, even through my shield (and Sona's armor aura whenever she felt like coming top) when played right with intersped autos is way more than I had tought from the previous Rivens I'd seen.

It's expected because everything that gets nerfed is auto bad. CV is still a good summoner to have on your team for various reasons.

I'm more surprised that it's been ditched in tournament games than in solo queue. It's always been hit-or-miss in solo queue, but as I said before, I think in arranged play, it would still be playable if it had a 3 min CD and only gave vision for 1 second. Not a no-brainer, but still playable. At 70 seconds and still 5 second reveal, it should still be a no-brainer in arranged play.

I also think it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for your support to carry Heal. I think it's great to HAVE Heal, but it feels wrong to put a summoner that gets significantly stronger with levels on the team member that will always end up the lowest level on your team.

Why not, say, Ignite on bot lane and Heal on your mid AP? The AP typically ends up highest or 2nd highest level in the game (Ignite scales damage on levels as well, but not nearly as hard as the scaling on Heal), and the anti-heal is generally much more relevant when trying to make kills happen bottom than mid.
