I don't know why you'd start Cloth Armor + 5 Pot on Rammus in the new jungle. He's perfectly fine with Boots + 3 Pot. | ||

It has deceptively long range and lets you trade well in lane. But yeah - when you're jungling you have to run AS + arpen runes and wriggles to keep up in clear speed, but you don't need those in lane and you can rush Wit's End for damage. | ||

The difference between 650 and 700 movement speed is negligable at those movement speeds. | ||

Mana gives you stupid sustain and harass, health allows you to be tankier, as you'll restore to full life very fast, and AP is always welcome. Funfire is just bad on WW as it gives nothing interesting regarding his abilities, compared to Frozen Heart who gives mana and CDR. | ||

Your standard build will be Wit's End, Merc Threads, Glacial/FH, Spirit Visage, and two additional items. One of these is usually a Chalice, which you can sell late game. Triforce is the best damage item, and you have a lot of options for defense (Aegis, Randuins, GA, but probably not warmog). If you have Chalice+Wit's already, then Glacial makes more sense than spirit visage. The CDR you get will give you more damage and sustain than Sunfire would. (Sunfire is a pretty bad item in general.) As for boots - you get Merc Threads vast majority of time. I see very few circumstances where you can get away with Sorc Boots. | ||

I have been opening Vamp Sceptre and the only time I dip below like 85% health is on the small golems if I let them both wail on me for a while. Seriously, Rammus is so strong and fast in the new jungle that sometimes I don't even build that Vamp into Wriggles. If I get FB or a couple early kills/assists I skip it and go straight into my Randuins. The vamp scepter plus the healing sigils is all the sustain I have ever needed. I feel like all five of those pots would just sit in my inventory the whole game. | ||

I never built it on him but saw it on stream today. I appreciate all the feedback  For the record I normally end a game with Wriggle's, Mercs, Wits, Aegis, Frozen, dmg or def item depending. Just never thought Dring or Sorcs made sense but I guess he was mid. | ||

It really speeds up clearing the buff bosses and I won't try early dragons without it if my team is punks and don't like to help. Randuins is pretty much the only "every game" item I get on Rammus these days. I think there is potential in an opening that leads right into it. | ||
