You are an exceptional initiator that does massive AoE damage if they don't cc you. If you get cc'd cry to your mother as you are useless. Randuin's should prolly be QSS, either that or end game sell wriggles for it.

Like I said, it's the component that has the largest difference in utility between laners and junglers. Junglers barely care for it (since they get time to back for wards when they need them anyway, it's basically just equivalent to gp10 for them), while laners absolutely love the fact that you can keep 100% river ward uptime without needing to back and buy more wards. Stat-wise, if Wriggle's didn't give you the ward, nothing makes it better than DBlade stacking. | ||

Would you be for or against making the CD on wriggles longer than the ward time then? Like let there be 90 seconds or so after the ward expires before you can use it again. Honestly, I think an option like that would be pretty great for the game. Either that or make there be a limited number of wards on the map at any given time. That way warding correctly matters. | ||

You could probably get rid of the ward entirely, and junglers that need Wriggle's would still get it. It's not the main selling point of Wriggle's for junglers, anyway. That said, if they chose to do that, I would like it if they re-buffed the Wriggle's proc as well. | ||

If you ever get behind it's a good way to prevent them from killing you and allows you to push waves off your tower fast. If you're not behind though it generally just delays your BF item because it's the equivalent of buying 3 dblades basically. Very rarely do you get all three dblades unless you're super far behind. Also a good consideration if you're laning with Janna for the sustain, but not always required. The dragon/baron control it provides with the proc is really good though. | ||

I never bought into the "but you can push faster" line, which was supposedly one of its big selling points. The armor is about the only thing you end up missing as far as a lane matchup goes, but you get the same life steal, your support is usually doing your warding anyway, and you get real AD items much faster, since you spend ~1100 less for just scepter vs a full wriggles. If you get dblade+scepter you end up with less AD (10 vs 23), same lifesteal, no armor, no proc/ward, and more hp, but save 675g (40% of your BFS). Wriggles proc isn't bad for blitzing an early dragon, but realistically that very rarely ever happens in solo queue, especially at lower ratings. It's pretty irrelevant in the lane. | ||

I think it's more that it gives you better creep control in lanes where you otherwise have inferior creep control (e.g. Vayne has no way of counterpushing Caitlyn because she has AoE and you don't). If you already have superior abilities for controlling the lane position, I agree Wriggle's isn't that helpful. | ||
