Anyone have fastest time to level 6 for champions after the patch?
I don't know how bad my times are but starting blue without a pull in a custom game I did: 7:05 level 6 with Udyr - Cloth + 5 | 0/21/9 Masteries, AS Reds/Quints, Armor Yellows, MR/lvl blues. Skill order: RWRWER 8:25 level 6 with WW - Longsword + 1 | 21/9/0 masteries, 6 ArP reds/3AS Reds, Armor Yellows, MR/lvl blues, AS Quints. Skill order: WQQEQR
I'm going to try and start timing the pros (even though they don't do straight run to level 6, they usually gank and leech some experience from the lanes and have to wait in bushes for ganks.

Start wolves, not blue.

How much of a difference does that really do to my time, people usually get their teammates to poke the wolves down so they die fast enough to get to blue. I'm guessing we are talking about 10-15 seconds?

I'm kinda curious who TL cheers for.
Poll: Of the top western LoL teams I generally cheer for:Team SoloMid (26) 28% Epik Gamers (20) 22% CLG (18) 19% fnatic (14) 15% Dignitas (9) 10% SK Gaming (3) 3% Other (3) 3% 93 total votes Your vote: Of the top western LoL teams I generally cheer for: (Vote): Epik Gamers (Vote): Team SoloMid (Vote): CLG (Vote): Dignitas (Vote): fnatic (Vote): SK Gaming (Vote): Other
I don't really know the asian teams so I didn't include them. Also, I know there are other teams but these are the six that I think have traditionally been the strongest - this may or may not be true right now but I don't think we've seen big results from other teams yet (ie winning big tournaments).

Touche. I was asking other people the fastest times, because I know I am a sub-par jungler. I was sharing my times to see if anyone thought they were near the correct times. I'll definitely try it going wolves>blue>wraiths>mini>red>wraiths>wolves>bluepill. Should I clear bottom to top after that or go straight back to wraiths since they are the fastest spawning?

fastest route is wolves blue wraiths red golems wolves wraiths golems etc
can keep pace on skarner/udyr pretty easily
i posted numbers many days ago for some runs, gl finding them

IMO xin zhao got nerfed because hes 3150 and thousands of noobs that dont have the patience to learn how to play keep losing to him. trynd and yi are pretty comparable champs but they cost so little that people either play them enough to understand why they arent OP or play against them enough to figure them out. i cant think of another character who is as difficult to play against if you don't understand him because every time you think you are certainly going to kill him, he simply doesnt die, kills you, then spins away. i guarantee that if tryndamere was 6300 noobs would just call GG as soon as they saw him get picked. (this is how vladimir was treated back when i was getting to level 30 in mid-2011)
just remember that probably half the people that play this game get to level 30, probably half of those people never play ranked, and half of people that play ranked are 1000 elo or less, and riot really has to balance for them

sorry for double post, but i cheer first for fnatic just because of shushei, then TSM collectively

I like all the players on EG so I'd pick them just for having the highest proportion of likeable people.

1) "A jungler should need to gank successfully to keep up, but if behind, staying in the jungle should be a good place to catch up." This just shows a fundamental misunderstanding how this game is played. Ganks are simply not a means for a jungler to gain an advantage for themselves. In the average case, you don't get gold from a gank, and you get minimal XP from creeps dying around you. Occasionally you get a kill or assist. Very often you only get bluepills or blown summoners, which only become advantage for your laner and not you. Sometimes, you don't even get anything more than the knowledge that you passed a ward. How Riot can't even understand this at a basic level, and think that ganking reliably puts a jungler ahead, I have no idea.
2) Riot thinks that gimmicky one-off big Wraith steals are an acceptable replacement for the counterjungling dynamics that existed before. They've completely destroyed the value of the timing information that you gain from clearing an enemy camp (letting you plan around coming back and taking it again, or at least knowing when it will be up for the opposing jungler to do), which was vastly more valuable than the small amount of XP/gold you gained from doing the camp once. This will remain the case so long as the spawn timers are as short as they are, no matter how they change the camp XP values--the laughably short spawn timers don't create room for you to plan accordingly. Instead of rewarding good planning and insight in the jungle, they reward a cute trick, and think it's the same thing just because they both involve the act of doing enemy jungle camps.
This really sums up how I feel the jungle changes are a mistake better then I possibly good, well done

I think it's more an issue of either their hubris or arrogance than anything. All of the things that they fucked up were shouted about from the rooftops for the last several months and ignored.

Even in the highest ELOs he's a pick/ban now since remake.
