rumble is still one of if not the best champs in the game He's my solo top main. huehue As Riven: Bad Rumble players are food. Good Rumble players are annoying, but not impossible to lane against. His damage is really good, but with no sustain and only minimal innate tankiness, I feel that a lot of solo top'ers can match him no real problem. There aren't any that completely dominate him, but there are only a few that he completely shuts down as well.
I want someone to confirm cause I'm pretty sure that no less than a month ago Rumble was considered the counter to "every bruiser ever" that goes top lane. I can't say anything about Riven cause she's too new but I'm pretty sure Rumble shits on most bruisers top lane. His real problem comes when the other team sends their mage top lane.

For me, if you need a blanket counter... Rumble > Bruisers Talon > Casters
I haven't tested this out but Wriggle's Riven could possibly force a farm war up top, only because of her redonkulous Ulti at 6. It takes Rumble about level 5-6 as well to farm up a Revolver. My only problem is Revolver is vital for Rumble. I feel like Wriggle's is somewhat of a waste for Riven.
Edit: "blanket counter" is just a rough estimate. I know there will be situational exceptions. Thx.

Pant should do good vs rumble aswell.

What bruisers does rumble beat? Some magical bruiser with no sustain in lane? Lanewick, laneudyr and irelia heck even nasus have enough sustain to lane against rumble just farming a pushed lane if you try to punish him with flamethrower. The only time I feel like rumble is really strong is if people A: Straight up ignore your flamethrower or B: Try to fight you without some kind of advantage.

Most people don't actually come to lane ready to counter rumble with like 97MR at level 1.
Rumble's biggest problem is that you can easily bait him into pushing the lane because he really doesn't have much choice.
I still think he's a good, undervalued champion though.

Just speaking back about WW, someone asked if he had been used recently in comptitive play and I'll answer : IEM China
Also Kassadin and Heimer free again. Kass was free like 2 weeks ago and Heimer is free every 3 weeks (so that all stupid poeple can play him and feed). T.T

Come to lane with like the appropriate resists, and proceed to laugh at your lane opponent as they do zero damage to you, regardless of how "OP" their champion is.

Fun game yesterday- my nasus vs enemy urgot. Came to lane with 60 armor, he kinda hurt me. Back, buy, chain vest, proceed to not take any damage from him at all.
Still lose cuz my sion was retarded, but at least I had a 500 Q.

Basically pick someone who can burst down Rumble when he needs to and not eat a full Flamespitter. So needs to be able to zone. Farm in lane, take position. If Rumble comes close, burst.
So.. Swain?

So I just had a terrible game. I'm still kinda new and bad at this game but I do slightly "get" it. I played Soraka, other guys were Rammus, Tryndamere, Kassadar, and Urgot. As soon as the game started they all rushed to top and bottom, I asked Kass to do mid because I can't do it on Soraka but he wanted to lane with his homie so w/e. I knew this would go bad anyway so I just went mid.
I was the only one on our entire team who destroyed an enemy tower all game long.

lol reminds me of my irelia vs talon lanes. Come to lane with 60 armor, before 10 mins have 180 armor and your burst back is greater than his burst on you, except you have more sustained damage than him AND more sustain. trollolol

What? You buy wriggles and he can't get to creeps without losing half his hp you don't need more than 100 armour. You heal 45 per hit or something stupid.

I am curious if you had some sort of reverse draft, where instead of picking your team's champions, you pick the enemies champions (I guess this assumes everyone owns every champion), what would the teams look like? And if you had bans, who would those be, Evelynn?
|
what's the best ad/support bot against cait/taric or cait/ali? in other words, who can manage their lane fairly well without getting shit on? (neglecting graves as he's gonna get nerfed)

Karma - Shen - Kayle - Leona - Evelynn would be a pretty sweet lineup :>

This works really well using the free champions in the week, since there are exactly 10 free champs every week.

Kog/Sona or Kog/Soraka are pretty standard. You will take some harass early and possibly lose out on a bit of farm, but you should be able to come reasonably close in cs and have a much stronger mid and late game.

That's the real question Anyone who comes to lane with 70+ armor and an ok amount of sustain (or just lots of pots). He'll run oom before spear shotting them into critical range. This is only one reason why loci prefers going mid on him - when was the last time you saw an AP carry come to lane with cloth5pot?
The other reason is obviously that you can actually gank more than 1 place on the map with ult.
