I would recommend starting boots and 3 potions and THEN getting you sheen, skipping brutalizer all together, and going straight tri-force. There are some cases where a fast lantern might be slightly more advantageous, but for learning purposes, go strait for tri-force. The order you want to go in is boots/3 -> sheen -> zerker boots -> phage -> zeal -> triforce. From there, just build on what you need most. If the opposing team is super AP heavy, like 2 solo AP heroes, then my experience can say grab Negatron Cloak after tri-force before getting another AD item. Bloodthirster is my favorite follow up choice from here. | ||

skill irelia W > E > Q, getting WEWQ (90% of the time) or WQWE (when they hard push to start, for last hitting on tower) to start. Open cloth + 5 vs. physical damage laners, regrowth + 1 or boots + 3 vs. magic damage laners. In hard lanes, get wriggle's -> wit's end -> tank out. In easy lanes, get philo + hog -> triforce -> wit's + GA. | ||

also, 0/21/9 makes more sense imo. You gotta go balls deep with Irelia in every single teamfight. It's really important that you're beefy as hell. | ||
