Q bind is powerful if landed and is a decent skillshot actually quite long both in range and duration (2 second snare level 1). W allows her to farm waves effectively and without putting herself in much danger, as well as coupled with her passive she has some sustain in lane. R is utility/damage in teamfights. With E and/or Zhonya's you become a massive threat to the enemy. Basically a good source of magic damage with good AP scaling with incredible utility and strong resistance to ganks and easy to farm with. | ||

It's warding the right spots and cving the right places and instantly reacting to things that happen. Buying the items is the easy part though... | ||

I don't know if it does, and if it does, I would assume that the AD scaling part would be ignored, and all abilities would count. If auras really work, get Starks for a 1200 radius assist harvest machine. Yesterday I was Cait vs Taric Vayne and my anny Janna would always wander off to dragon to ward/clear wards right when I was in the process of shoving a wave. Vayne ult, tumble, exhaust, Taric stun, Vayne condemn, I'm dead. Of even better, WW shows up too, I'm even more dead. Obviously I should have retreated right as Janna left, but I didn't expect her to do this crap all the time, and I would have lost tons of farm. As the AD you want to trust in your support so you can focus on other things, and the support has to play according to the actions of the AD. | ||

i just saw an akali (with baron, guardian angel) LITERALLY 1v5 the opposing team and get a pentakill the rest of us were just pushing mid while we watched her and screamed on vent it was fucking insanity 1v5 pentakill holy | ||

Not surprising if you were like 40-10. it was something like 20-6, but akali WAS 10-1 at that point and our opponents weren't GREAT so their farm was pretty poor but they did at least try to stagger CC it was like 5 converge on her in top lane she shrouds she instagibs cait, they burst her to ~40% life she jumps on pirate, back up to 60% life, bursted back down to 20% she kills pirate, gets bursted down to 0, shroud falls while guardian resurrects her revives at like 15% life, immediately gibs teemo to jump back up to 50% annie stuns her and unloads and ignites, down to 10% she kills annie but vamp only gets her to 20% life, nocturne wailing on her at this point we're all screaming in vent and going nuts she ends up killing noc and lives with about 10% life then chat just exploded with "LOL" "OMG" "PPPPENTA" "OMG" "HISTORY" "LOLOLOLOL" "we let you kill us" "LOL" "DOMINATED" etc etc | ||

Personally, I feel Gunblade needs to get rescaled through Bilgewater Cutlass. The item is too useless outside of being a Gunblade component--it's not really cost-effective for the stats, only builds to Gunblade, and the active is absolute trash before the upgrade (400 range for Cutlass active, upgrades to 700 with Gunblade--the range goes from useless to insane). The item combine for Gunblade is stupidly cost-effective, but a lot of that is just making up for how comparatively useless Cutlass is. Cutlass needs to get re-scaled to being more compelling on it's own (possibly giving it an AD-only build path, and upping the range on the active), while Gunblade's combine needs to be nerfed a bit. | ||

I think the fast rylais build fell out of flavor awhile ago. The more common thing that I am seeing now is gunblade into deathcap, followed by a GA. She only gets out of control if your team is lacking on CC. If you have no cc chains built into your team comp, she will most likely be able to just bounce around killing in team fights unhindered. | ||
