Yorick is a beast in lane. It's really really hard to beat him in lane. The best you can hope for is to go even against him and the only ones that can really do that consistently are champs with great sustain themselves.

The only time I've ever lost a lane was if I get ganked a shitton and I get behind in levels/farm. To beat Yorick your best bet is to just call for lots of ganks.

Just try not to get raped too hard in lane because Yorick isn't as strong past laning. During late game he can still be pretty powerful 'cause his ult, even after being nerfed, is still pretty decent not to mention he gets pretty damn tanky and hits pretty hard with the damage reduction/amplification from his ghouls. However, his mid game (after laning, but before he gets fully farmed with Force of Atmogs and Triforce and shit) is kinda meh and can for the most part be ignored/kited provided he's not too fed.

From what I have seen so far (not a whole lot though), pushing really hard seems to be the best way to deal with Yorick.

It's pretty easy to control the lane as Yorick. You can freeze the lane right before the tower with your minions and not suffer any damage.

Once you keep them there it gets rather dangerous to keep pushing for the other guy if you have a decent jungler.

I've beaten Yorick top with Tryndamere using the super-sustain AP Quints/Glyphs + Amp Tome setup -> standard build. It's a nasty war of attrition though. If you don't understand both Tryndamere and Yorick well it's a pretty easy war to lose.

Tryndamere's uniquely suited to the task though. He gets bonus fury from killing ghouls, and his W reduces their damage if it hits Yorick (their stats update by the second). He can also counter Yorick's ult by either just soaking up the damage using his own ult, or escaping both Yoricks with E.

Still, can be touch and go, which is kind of a testament to how OP both their sustains are.

I was just practicing my Ali combo in a custom game today and decided to stack philo stones for the mana regen and I noticed that my gold gain was really really fast. I mean, faster than if you had 1 gp10 Is the gold per 10 still unique or am I hallucinating?
