Except I didn't really see much poking being done, unless you mean simply clearing waves. But then any AP/AD duo should be able to clear waves fast. When coL was seiging mid, CLG really held strong by never getting out of position for Ali/Taric. Good CV and traps by jiji. I feel that Ali/Taric should have been able to initiate for coL a lot more frequently, even at the cost of their own death, if it meant Brand/Cait dying. There was too much pansy footsie by coL which I think was due cawcawcaw. Flash/Pulverize, Flash/Cresendo was all that was needed. They had Baron buff too (coL). Regardless, great play by CLG to "comeback" from midgame deficient. Totally agree with you on hsgg being MVP that game.

Atlanta's never been sacked as much as him leaving teams on his own free will. Edit: GoSu vs Blight Gaming now

Their poking refers to what I said in my other post, basically CoL was completely reliant on an ali or taric flash for initiating over CLG's range. And WTF was mandatory doing there. TPs onto ally 100 hp nocturne and runs the other way without ulting him.

No, that probably has a lot more to do with the old TL team having players would troll / be dicks in solo q. I doubt many "top" players even know this subforum exists, let alone care. I laugh at the notion that people should only worship high Elo players or not post at all.

It's one thing to constructively criticize their play, but I was under the impression that Dan's pretty well known for being in good standing with his team and calling the shots--and IIRC Neo's mentioned prior that he's gotten similar opinions talking to Dyrus. If you're going to present something contrary to the prevailing thought as fact (i.e. the EG players complaining about Dan not making calls), you're going to need some proof. Unless he offers some proof that he gets more interaction with the EG players than Neo or numbers/has some inside source, I'm going to assume he's trolling/sensationalizing.

Dan does lead EG. If you've talk to any of the high elo players, a lot of them will tell you that the Dinh brothers have a natural knack at running their respective teams. Only reason why r33k's "sensational" comment has any ground is because of DH. Dan didn't really step up there, probably due to new environment and high stakes, so I don't blame him. But in scrims, you can tell Dan take reins in vent.

Then decides to get a triple kill for CLG with saint landing a solid ulti. zz Free Baron Edit: And I want to mention that hs "getting caught" was not necessary a bad thing for his team in this game. He got the farm he needed and top tower. Gave bottom a free lane to saint who managed to get a bot tower too. Just really lolz what a farmed Jax can do even after "feeding", huk. It's weird but watching Hotshot play top lane, a lot of his problem is that "getting caught" is basically just his playstyle which gets him killed in solo queue because his team can't do anything with it, but jiji and Chauster know how to capitalize. It's such a solo queue seeming playstyle but games like this really show he's a ... real team player? ...as long as it's not Malz who just gets gibbed immediately. Needs to stop that shit with Malz.

Maybe it's just me, but HSGG seems to have a lot of Nid play influencing him when he plays other champs. Like, I've seen his Swain split push real hard and overextend a lot and buy lots of wards. That, and he probably has a really deep understanding of what plays to make but in solo queue people can't follow up on them. So it looks like it's bad but it's much more subtle than that.

All I'm saying comes not only from what everyone can see on streams but also from personal complaints by dyrus. Dan doesn't take the reins as much as Regi does, and everyone on the team is making calls all the time, and dan rarely steps in to say "no we do it this way". He also doesn't like telling his teammates what to play and so everyone just kinda slides into the roles the team needs to have filled. Except for Salce and now pgb for obvious reasons.
