I think I'd rather just first person follow one player through the game with a commentator on top talking about the overall action, that's probably just personal preference though. I haven't read the entirety of the thread so I don't know if it's been commented on but I think the players need to stop swearing in the in-game stream viewable chats and in general act more like adults. If LoL ever wants to attract real sponsors for events, the sponsors aren't going to want to see that and it makes the entire event feel amateurish when the players are swearing away and chatting about their girlfriends and how they need to take a dump before the game starts. This looks bad on the players, the LoL community and Riot for hosting and publicizing the event. Thirdly, I found it gross that players openly bashed Riot in the pre-game chats, talking about how certain skins sucked (that's going to cost Riot money), as well as discussions around the LoL Replay Tool, to quote some player 'you know the one Riot couldn't make.' Riot did a lot to make this event happen, publicize it and bring the viewers to it. Warranted or not I think the players can keep the comments to themselves during the event just out of respect for what Riot did to make the event happen. If Riot feels they are being portrayed in a negative light while these events are happening they'll simply stop doing it. Anyways that was my thoughts on the event fwiw. Look at HoN, look at DotA. While the bashing of s2 isn't as common the way the companies act with their players are different. Riot did promise things, and they did not deliver. S2 just recently made paid ingame money worth more than its earned ingame counterpart and people are giving them shit about it. In the middle of the games. Like literally, pausing the game, making shoutouts and calling them greedy and all. Both top HoN and LoL terms do this jokingly, and tbh the game needs to attract people way more than it needs a professional image right now. There are only 2 top teams, before giving them an image change a tournament needs to have at least 8 teams with somewhat comparable skill levels. The replay rant from rambo was over the top, but it took a third party to make LoL into a competitive game because Riot promised and did not deliver, so his frustration is completely justified.

From the official forums I find an explanation: I did it on purpose. I saw him coming and threw the spells out. Like with the Vladimir spotlight dodging Sion stuns, they were intentional. Haven't checked the poll yet, but I'm sure there's plenty of, "lol luck noob" votes, but I'm really good at this game and on LAN ping. I'd be embarrassed not to be able to pull out moves like that. I'm way worse than other top LoL players at map awareness and probably overall teamplay dynamics (which showed somewhat during the ESL cast on Sunday), but yeah, this is the type of stuff I'm good at Everything is clear now. TL:DR - Bold part.

It wasn't as well known as SK/4K/MyM since the US scene was small compared to the Euro scene but it was probably the strongest US team at that time (which is not saying much). Anyways, my point was that I expected Phreak to cast much better because of his previous experience and not to dick around half the cast trying to show off by calculating what runes/masteries people started with.
