Noxus apparently had prepared their comp because they were expecting the ban on Rammus. No, personally I expected them to ban ashe and force us into some not great team comp (ezreal is not even good when played by someone who is good at him, and we didnt even have someoen who is good at him). Our comp would lilely have been frozt jungle yi and me mid udyr! In case of udyr ban I would jungle mummy and shen would be bot. Were you nervous during the match at all? There were well over 4k viewers on the Riot Stream. When it did feel like Ionia had the game locked up? I have won 10 monthly tournaments in guildwars, so I have gotten past the whole being nervous before/in a match, my biggest problem is lack of sleep due to excesive theory crafting the day before. In terms of coordination, did you have 1 designated leader who would call stuff out? Or was it like a committee sort of communication? Noxus' side was just Roku talking apparently which definitely doesn't help if you're trying to call everything out. Without attempting to take credit for anyone else's performance, I did take the lead in making sure everyones rune/mastery/item build made sense, as well as me and frozt calling out when and where to ward, other than that I just kept track of dragon respawntime, (type it in team chat when it dies for easy reference), and made sure everyone shopped / was ready to go for it in time before it spawned. If you pay close attention before the first dragon fight, you iwll notice kennen comming down from top lane as we are about to do it, that is me setting our team up to do dragon before the other team is ready to respond, had the enemy team done the same before us the match could easily have swung thier way (notice that we all got super low in that fight and fights before that) After we got the 5 - 0 lead plus a dragon in our favor the game was essentially (save for a DC or really poor play over'), we could simply sit back and wait for a few more dragons to further the lead before pushing for the win). Other than that, not much else for me to say. I unfortunately stopped watching after the Vlad D/c although I probably should have stopped after the second dragon fight, Lol @ singed 1v4. G_G btw, solid beatdown. 1v4 is possible, you just need the power of locket! (you missed out and such a good ending! ![]()

Can you imagine all the intense trolling that could've gone down with spell vamp @ lvl 1. Ionia, I am disappoint. I bet if those cool Noxians would've won they'd have picked spell vamp.

I think the CDR boots are viable as a replacement for merc treads in caster builds that run void staff. But yes, the Doran item certainly seemed like it would change the game more. And welcome to Guardsman Bob -- next time I write your name in an IH thread I won't have to list you as "No TL Account ![]()

But, many champs who coould use spell vamp dont use mana, this alreayd cuts down who it would make a good starting item for. Additionally dorans ring gives AP and regens more mana in a little over 2 minutes, making it better in almost all situations. And thirdly, I personally dislike dorans items and think they should be nerfed to 50hp, people having less health early makes for more intersting laning. The boots should cost about the same as beserker graves and tabi, and be 15% CDR, as far as I was told. (this may change). And yes as the last poster pointed out, quite a few champions have a hard time itemizing CDR (which is a very powerful stat), merc threads are, imo, mostly for champions who need to auto attack.

It´s really nasty on champions with recursive CDR aka Zilean and Xin. Zil might stick to MRPen boots but I´d say Xin will take the Ionian Stompers.

If there's just 8% spell vamp on the Doran's item, then that isn't so impressive. I'd also have gone with the boots, in that case ![]()
