All these AoEers and ranged carries getting nerfed might make Nasus more viable now if the metagame goes back to heal comps or tanky heavy

NASUS has always been viable yo.

I honestly don't know what to think of the patch. Im glad they're nerfing the ranged carries, but now it seems to be promoting a 5 tank v 5 tank set up with how hard they're nerfing people everywhere.

Some melee carries can beat tanks.
Tankier sustained melee dps beats most of the tanks.
Ones that come to mind are: Warwick Udyr Jax Olaf Nasus

Argh.. Morgana nerf, Twitch nerf, MF nerf. My three favorites..

well the twitch nerf was barely anything, i rarely use the full duration of spray'n pray anyways

Yeah, the whole "we'll change it more later" thing is just a little scary though.
I saw the Morgana skin before I read the patch notes and was about to buy it, lol. I don't remember the cooldown on her ult, wasn't it like 80 seconds? 120 seems a little extremeeee.

Suggestion: Reverse the order of the patches so the newest ones are at the top instead of the bottom. Makes more sense from a reading standpoint in my opinion.
How viable are Doran items now? Specifically Doran blade stacking early on. The hitpoints are like the best part and now they have less hitpoints ^_^

I still plan on doing double d-blade openings on carries. They weren't hit that hard.

lol, you played janna too much to consider her op? prior to this patch, Janna was easily the best support in the game. I'm not sure how the patch will change it, but acting like she was in a good place before this patch is horrifically naive.

Sona was better.

we'll just have to agree to disagree. they were both retarded, but monsoon is the most retardedly powerful ability ever. Sona was a better pubstomper, but I'd pick Janna over sona any day because having Janna on your team is like giving your whole team a get out of jail free card. and she also gave more focused support to your carry.

Sona is just silly because she's just faceroll. But I think a competent Janna is much better than a Sona.
Bubble for DPS, knock up and healing reset button is just too much good skills for a support.

well, sona does certain things better. having an AoE stun is really useful, as is having a spamable heal to keep your team topped off in a poking match, as is having a long range nuke for said poking match, as are a fistful of useful auras. Basically if fights are long drawn out affairs, Sona is better, but in a short decisive fight, Janna's presence is felt more than Sonas.

Sona was retarded because it was neigh-impossible to lose a lane with her if played well. From a pure support perspective Janna > Sona all the way but Sona counts as a support hero and thus her ridiculous game control (by affecting a lane so much) made her #1 in my eyes.

How would you guys rank support heroes after this patch? I'm thinking something along the lines of 1) Taric 2) Sona 3) Janna

1) Janna 2) Taric 3) Soraka 4) Sona
