it's because nunu's ult does more damage the longer he channels it and he can cancel it early for less damage (so if someone else cancels it early it does the same amount of damage as if he canceled it himself at the time)
and i thought that was how galio worked too
idk though lol

galio's works the same as nunu's in that respect. I would know, I mained Galio on old school team liquid and then missed a game changing flash ult and quit competitive LoL for months because of it :p.

1. I believe all those work, but spells that only move them won't (Alistar's Headbutt for instance). Taunts and suppression effects (stun + can't use summoner spells + duration not affected by Tenacity) will always work too.
2. Some channeled spells have over-time effects as they channel (Katarina's Death Lotus, Fiddlestick's Drain, Janna's ult's heal), but a few others have the entire effect at the end (Fiddlestick's ult, Nunu's ult, Galio's ult). Of this latter kind, Nunu's ult is the only one that has a partial effect (rather than none) if you or an enemy interrupts the channel before it's complete.
3. If you're on "free-farm" mode (no one's preventing you from farming), 10-12 minions per minute. Otherwise, you may well get less than that because you're too low and are forced to go back to base & heal, or you have to skip a last hit or two to prevent getting harassed too hard, etc.
4. Don't know.
5. Don't just change the hotkeys, explore smartcasting. I currently have Q as smartcastspell1, W as smartcastspell2, etc. and Shift+Q as castspell1, Shift+W as castspell2, etc. For some retarded reason you can't set Shift+Q etc. as hotkeys for standard casting of spells in-game, so you need to mess around with all those hotkeys first (change them to anything), this will create an Input file that you can then edit to your heart's content at:

Speaking of which, is there a way to toggle smartcast ingame? I'd love to have normal version on QWER, then press like Capslock, have them all smartcast, press Capslock again and have the normal version.

Anyone know what to put into the CFG file to make it this way?

Nunu's ult damage goes up in something similar to an exponential growth (very low if canceled early, quickly growing at the end).

Galio's ult always has a base damage (at least if he gets to actually start it, I think you have like .1 second to cancel it and it will do 0 damage but I might be wrong), and then it basically grows linearly with the number of attacks he takes up to a certain limit. After that you can cancel it and deal full damage.

someone go verify it. I'm like 99% sure it did damage when Xin would 3 Talon you out a second into it, and they never changed it, right?

and you can get full damage easily in a second so you don't need the full channel

Ok, just tested it. If you turn on Galio's ult and then cancel it immediately, it will deal full damage.

If you turn on Galio's ult and an enemy champion interrupts it immediately, it will also deal full damage.

oh, i meant in the same respect that it will deal damage if cancelled. the growth scale is different since nunu's scales with time and galio's scales with times hit.

I can't seem to install this colorblind healthbars though; I'm pretty sure I don't have a heropak_client.zip.
I really can't tell the difference between allies and enemies
Also, is there any way to change keybinds without being in a game?

Is there a good method to tighten up my early-game/pre-item last hitting? I've run practice games with no bots and stuff like that but I find that a lot of the time I am just barely missing some last hits; and by some I mean sometimes I "barely miss" an entire wave's worth of CS. Repeatedly. I can't quite feel out that sweet spot between "1 more hit from a minion then I kill" and "minions already killed it," I guess.
Do you guys left click on individual minions to track their HP? I've thought about doing that but I don't think I can split my attention well enough to do that while watching minimap/not walking straight into enemy tower.

I mean I can just play Janna and stack philos (what I end up doing most of the time huehue) or AoE spam creep waves down later on, but I am pretty sure that isn't a long-term solution.

Just turn on the health bars, and then watch the rate at which it decreases, and then hit when you think you will kill. Alternatively, you can track HP, but that's not as practical in terms of multitasking.

You have healthbars on right? I think the most important part of last hitting is knowing how quickly an enemy minion's health is going to decrease, that is, how many of your minions are targeting each enemy minion individually.

The other half of it is getting a handle on each champion individually. Lasthitting on Soraka or Morgana is wildly different than lasthitting on Ashe or Caitlyn.
