Weren't they supposed to nerf basic damage on Renek's skills by 30% and vastly increase AD ratios to the values of like 2-3 dmg per AD?

Really Riot? How often do you have 1v1 fights endgame? Not to mention that changing his E doesn't really nerf his Q... Later he also says "Well, let me be more specific here, the victim of XZ's alpha has no counterplay. Everyone else on his team can counter XZ while he is busy destroying his victim but that's not exactly gameplay we can promote everywhere. It doesn't scale well.".
What is the point of asassin then? Having 50% chances of winning 1v1 and 100% chances of losing 5v5? Is it really what Riot wants to do? To make all assassins equal to other champions in 1v1 while being useless 5v5? (XZ maybe isn't useless 5v5 but i feel like he isn't as strong in teamfights as most tanky dps)

XZ is a Bruiser. As such he is supposed to balance his offense or defense dynamically to be able to challenge the enemies with substained damage.
Assassins use burst and high mobility without durability or substained DPS.

Im confused, its not like singed wont split push fast anymore, just not as fast...
In fact, it might be better because you cant catch him at all with his ulti on.

He is considered (by Riot) both an assassin and a bruiser - Irelia is actually considered only an assassin
EDIT: Honestly we may not agree with their "tags" but tbh if they release a champion and he is supposed to fill a role, they should balance him around this role. So if they give an assassin role to XZ , then he should really be good at 1v1ing

Oh well, at least I still have Shen (with a slightly nerfed ult that i mostly use for teleporting, not helping anyways)

I think riotXypherous had a point in the chain CC, fighting a Xin with enough AS and CDR felt like getting slapped to death by a Void with a Basher.
I have no idea where they are getting this "assassin" role though, since his kit is initiation, CC, and durability...

Yeah, taking 50 seconds to 1v1 someone requires nerfing, but a Veigar R-clicking a caster is fine because the death is quicker.

Many players play xin as an assassin. Build him tanky enough to survive initial burst and just e->r->qw the carry and instagib them. If the carry doesn't actually die they're so weak that they can't fight or will be 1 shot, so just move onto someone else with your team.
The constant nerfs for him are moronic though. He may become the next garen. "Herp derp i'm op" when first introduced to low tier trash.

It seems that they are hinting at the new Xin Zhao play style: full armor pen page, only build armor pen items, take flash. When a fight starts, flash into the middle of the enemy team, ult and die.
Seriously, this is the most retarded patch in the history of LoL, fuck it.
EDIT: Oh I get it now. Yesterday I raped some Nidalee in lane with Xin. Must have been a Riot employee.
That must be why the Nidalee nerfs Riot hinted at were nowhere to be found this patch...

I think they stated they'd make her less silly with her heal in lane, while giving better teamfight presence. Will be a while before we see her touched, imo.

So I just picked this game up again and quick question. How is Viegar now a days? Also it seems like Panth was messed with even more? very sad :[
Edit: is the season over? the game only offers regular games and not the option of ranked games anymore.
