Zileas said they want to fix that interaction with cait ult but from what I remember of another riot quote abilities with on hit effects are considered to be standard attacks at the engine level so it might not be easy to implement.

I'll be happy if they prioritize the ult getting canceled when you lose vision bug, that one just ruin the champion feel.

Her damage skills should still be something to fear getting hit by and again her ult does crap damage and her Q scales horribly.

There's a lot of Caitlyn threads, and without getting too much into it, I like the kit and how it's playing, the effect is just too poor. I agree the damage (and possibly range) of R is too weak for the channel time and evasion properties, so we'll likely buff that up next patch. E may get a damage bonus as well

I duno I have a pretty good time hitting with Q if you aim it so that it forces the enemy to go into the brush (which they dont want to do for fear of traps) or eat the blast.

Otherwise it's pretty easy to just pop people in the face when they move closer than your 650 attack range to do something (like TF to throw a card, etc)

the AD ratio is 2.0 of your bonus damage iirc.

On further inspection, the comparison between Piltover Peacemaker and Boomerang Blade does point to Piltover Peacemaker being on the weak side. I still don't think 1:1 AD scaling is a problem in and of itself, but you need 240 AD for PP to break even with BB's initial damage, and that's not even considering the fact that Sivir gives up less autoattacks to throw BB (no channel time), and the fact that BB swings around and can hit targets a second time.

That's her R--her Q is 1:1 with her total AD.

As a slightly related side-note, I never understood why Riot has some skills as scaling off base AD and others scaling off bonus AD. Couldn't you just make everything scale off one or the other and modify the base damage at each spell rank accordingly?

Her Q basically does the same damage as Ashe's Volley but Volley doesn't have a channel time. I think if they removed that, it'd be fine.

With regard to her trap and the limit of two, it's worth noting that, IIRC it ONLY triggers on champions. Because of this, it really does need to have a limit, because the fact that you can place them in lane to zone enemy champs without the worry of minions triggering them would greatly increase their zoning potential if you could place an unlimited number of them. Coupled with having a higher base attack range than anyone else during the laning phase, it really could get too strong--Q + 2-3 autos every time someone triggers a trap, and just spam traps everywhere in lane without fear of minions triggering them.

Actually, even now that might be the better way to use them--place them in lane and zone your opponent by forcing them to dance around them, then Q + auto if they forget about them/get forced onto one. You don't get enough of them to be able to cover that much ground to protect you from ganks, so it might be better to use them for aggressive zoning instead.

Ranked game. Anivia is our highest ranked player (1705) and has first pick. I get Sivir, he starts raging (you could deduce that he doesn't think much of Sivir). Next pick is WW. Then he goes ranting about how we need Shen + Rammus. Rages even more.

He doesn't even connect to the game.

Enemy team seems to have some dispute, so I lane against Cait + Grags in mid, lol. WW draws first blood and keeps doing really well together with the rest of the team while I push towers or hold lanes 1v2. We get an inhib. We kill half their team again without losing anyone.

Anivia "reconnects". Our enemies surrender.

Oh yeah, after 35 minutes you can afford a hat, a boot and a ring.

Yeah, babysitting with team massive team attack speeds. I still have nightmares of a game where they had Sivir, Shen, Zilean. She just wouldn't die.

Join a team with friends. Afk while they enter queue and miss champ selection. Random cho with jungle setup. Freak out looking for cho guide here. Can't find one, panic and jungle anyway.

Get full stacks and massive health regen. Harass enemy team and help push towers. Win due to awesome shen and friends anyway.

Keep looking for cho guide.. :p

Got to love the games where you're sivir, you're super farmed, and your team comp is shen, sivir, janna, morgana, rammus, and you lose because your team is too bad to protect you.
