On a more serious note Rammus does feel a little OP. I've been winning almost every game with him, even when our MF rushes starks into chalice and stupid shit like that. I picked him up a while ago but never really got on to playing him very much, regretting that now since he supposedly is getting a nerf. | ||

I believe someone from Riot said that they're only increasing the cooldown on his taunt by 3 seconds, so it's not really the end of the world. If anything, it's probably a needed nerf. Rammus's CC is too good right now, especially when you compare him to all of the other tanks. Think about it this way: of all of the tanks, rammus is the best jungler, gives the most map control (because he's the fastest), is the best ganker, is arguably the best initiator, has the best crowd control, and he deals a ton of damage in teamfights due to his ultimate. There really isn't much more that you can ask for. | ||

To expound on this: If you run the standard golem -> wolf -> wraith -> etc. route, which you really should, You get an extra stance on Wolves, which gives you level 3 monkey which shaves a few seconds off due to the increased attack speed. You'll see a huge difference. Because of the increased max mana you gain more from golem buff, which actually snowballs so that you get an extra stance against Wraiths (which enables you to maintain monkey 3) followed by an extra Turtle against Golems and then an extra Turtle against Liz Aside from the maintained monkey 3 for increased killing speed due to the quick turtle you actually maintain higher HP, making you significantly more difficult to kill (ie. Shaco) and allows you to do an emergency dragon with a healer (Sona/Taric/Janna/Soraka bot) if their jungler pops up at top, and the increased speed obviously lets you do some more shenanigans (fail gank) without falling behind. And of course if you succeed a gank you pull SO FAR AHEAD it's ridiculous. Edit: Not to mention by being able to switch to Turtle you get mana back for faster stance cycling  | ||
