Tried the R>E>Q>W and went 6-0-5. Well, our team was like 25-2 in teamkills so....don't know if that's a good indicator of anything because the other team was just so bad.

also not to mention alot of ppl dont realize that pool does shitloads of dmg (% based ftw), and just stand in it of their own volition, wondering what is killing them

edit: just so you know i dont mean to say that maxing q first is bad tho, i feel like its far more a matter of preference, and q could very well be better than puddle, i am just more patient with my farm, not to mention how terrible i am at hitting q's that maxing w first is just intuitive for me

Maxing Q isn't just about the farm, it's also about going from a 1.4 second silence to a 3 second silence. Obviously if you can never land Q it's irrelevant.

all of Malz's abilities are strong. when I smurf with him R > E > Q > W feels the most natural to me.

It's probably just a playstyle thing. I love farming and clearing gigantic creep waves in just a second without needing to always lasthit the E procs, so I like using Q to clear them quickly and swap lanes or rapidly push a lane. I also feel that lvl 1 W is enough for the kill combo nearly always, as long as you can land a Q(Which really isn't as hard as some people make it out to be, a friendly disable is going to help alot). I really don't use ulti as a 1v1 that much, anyway, and if I do it's near my friendly tower. It's more of a support spell for a gank, or for disabling their dps in a teamfight.

And malzahar is everywhere right now. Malz+ww=GFG enjoy your 4v5. His W is easiest the best collateral damage skill, the flat % dmg is really good on a caster. I remember back when the textures were bugged and you couldn't see it, so OP...

Malzahar kill-combo mathery:
Q does 35 + 55/level
W does 4% + 1%/level
E does 20 + 60/level
R does 100 + 150/level

Leveling W over Q is better (assuming 2/3 seconds in pool) when ~2.5% of their health is greater than 55 - when they have 2200 health, approximately. One point in W is almost definitely worth it for the base damage, though. With ult, you get at least 3 seconds in pool, and 15% of enemy health is usually going to beat out another 55 damage (breakeven point at 367 hp).
Q will let you farm faster and scales better, though, unless you're fighting a bunch of really tanky people.

Has anybody experienced a bug where Panth's aegis just doesn't stun? I don't own Pantheon, but I've seen it a couple times from opposing ones where they'll jump on me while I'm moving and the stun just won't do anything.

happens all the time, usually vs. a movement ability or when you're trying to use it to chain stun after another disable, but sometimes seemingly randomly.

Did they fix the missing particles on panth's ult when used in the jungle? I haven't seen him too much, he's still a regular ban on EU.

people just suck vs. a HSS that does a non-negligible amount of damage. it's like 6 months ago all over again except now there's draft mode.
