not very many changes
I like all of them but... not very many changes, lol. Ever since dreamhack I have been expecting a big patch that Does Stuff and it hasn't arrived. eg stealth, globals, healing, passivity, magma chamber, draft normals, twisted treeline changes, refocusing of jarvan/irelia, bunch of other champ specific stuff...
honestly my favorite part is the akali change lol

She still looks like a crab.
edit: Wow no Udyr change. Hopefully they fixed the wriggles/turtle stance bug and just didn't include it in the notes. His damage is still ridiculous, though. GP still op. TF no change.
/disappointed.

I thought that was her theme, she's the 'crab' champion like brand is the 'fire champion'
leona, crablord of demacia

Hate all the changes, why does Irelia need to be nerfed again? I really don't understand. Yorick is gonna be the OPest shit ever next patch, he's already secretly op.
|
Nothin good in the patch. Akali is nice, but other than that a meh patch.
ALTHOUGH: I totaly called Riot refusing to buff ww's passive to make up for his q nerf. Once, just once, can they try to minimize collateral damage when they nerf something?
|
Of the overpowered heroes in this patch, I feel like the only one that was really affected in any way was AP Alistar. Maybe Jarvan but I don't play him enough to know how much those changes matter.
Also Yorick sounds like he's going to be ridiculous. He wasn't like the worst hero in game or something before and they buffed every skill and his base stat growth ...

100% --> 80% isn't huge in terms of his jungling. Sure it's a nerf, but it's not as though WW is going to have any problems with a full clear on his first run.

Yessss, jumping to wards is back baby

Omg I <3 the akali change, I hate having to chase to get that auto attack to proc my Q

so the real question here is - what was the second most op build on solo alistar, the one that hasn't been touched? Something like sheen, wriggles, triforce maybe?
I find it hard to believe he's not still insane solo somehow
EDIT: actually i guess the real question is why are corki and orianna still broken

nid: if Im going doran's ring merc treads deatchap lichbane as my item build under which circumstances should I build the sheen before going to the needlessly large rod/deathcap? also, 9-0-21 or 0-9-21? the 15% reduction seems worth it since Im not itemizing mpen.
lux: I find myself going AA + deathcap and playing rather spammy with lux, especially because this allows for another blue buff dependent AP to be chosen. I am still undecided between cooldown boots and sorc shoes.
general: in fact, how do I judge whether my character needs cooldown boots or sorc shoes? Im sure there is some analysis somewhere detailing when, I assume that against a squishy team sorc shoes are better since tanky teams will have sufficient mr to need void staff?
Get early sheen if you feel it will help you dominate your lane and that will really use it's effects to your advantage, otherwise there's no point. So, don't get it if you are just friendly farming your lane or just playing passively.

So whenever i try to use shift-window to make windowed mode fullscreened for streaming it offsets my mousepointer hitbox, so I have to click like 3 cm above the visibile mouse pointer inside LoL to reach where the pointer is.
WTF?

Also, do you need quad core to stream at high fps or do you think a 3,16 dual core will do? CLG started streaming there then slowly grew into the go to place for LoL streams. The money benefits are the same, streamers can receive money from ads with a certain number of viewers. Most sc2 streamers use justintv since they sponsor a lot of events. Own3d picked up LoL by sponsoring teams and its just nice to have all of the same game streams in the same area I guess. Though it really doesn't matter with all of the stream lists. Your setup to stream should give you what you want. As far as I know the ad revenue is different. When eski was asking for partnerships with justin.tv and own3d, own3d offered $2-3 per 1k viewers per hour, while justin.tv offered $5-6 per 1k viewers per hour but not for viewers outside the US. Since eski was mostly streaming at random hours in the morning, a lot of his viewers were from EU, and so he decided to go with Own3d.
