Here is my team, winning a base trade, sadly I don't remember the contest, but it always feels good to win one! ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/JseqXNs.jpg) And here is an even better one, here you can see my team winning, without needing to bring their core to 0% health! How awesome is that? Opposing team ends up sending two people back (Valla and Malf I believe), we kill them, leaving me with a sliver of life left). The rest of our team dies attempting to delay our enemy so we decide to finish pushing. We actually ended up winning the game by 2 or 3%. I was so excited at the end... haha. | ||

My favorite moment is every time I take the temples boss camp alone as chen(in barrel ult) while being surrounded by the enemy team and just pushing them aside. No screeny only because my games in which I had that opportunity were all in the last patch and I did not take a screeny. Another awesome moment as chen was (at level 14)when the mines were coming up but I saw a Tyrande leaving a team fight with low HP and getting away with it. I quickly told our ETC that was just behind me that I would take care of her, and he should go in the mines. He did as I asked and I leaped onto tyrande, using my abilities to get her extremely low. She stunned me just before we reached her keep's range, I leaped over the keep and after tyrande. She decided not to go into her hearth, instead trying to out-micro me to my death, using the core and keep as defense to force me backwards while I had to drink extra brew if I was going to go after her. I backed up into the top left corner of her team's base to drink while keeping an eye on her. Tyrande ulted on me with Starfall, forcing me to move again. I chased after her, hit her just enough while in core range to kill her, and then got out of the core range just in time to live with 40HP Left. I then used Chen's amazing regen to just drink some brew and then casually walk away... into the mines, and over to the skull golem.... where the rest of the enemy team was waiting for me. | ||

I intercept her with a Drop Pod right on her head, killing her. HEADSHOT! So funny. Again on Haunted Mines, being behind most of the game, we decide to kamikaze on the enemy core whilst they go for skulls. Their core is at ~60% when they get back and we nearly die but just then I pop Tranquility (with the talent) and we manage to stay alive just long enough to kill their core. Our team scores were horribad but we still won anyway. As Kerrigan I've had a few instances where having Sprint is amazingly fun in hunting weak heroes down and then pouncing eon them with Ravage. I know most Kerrigan builds go for the Grasp range, but I always go for Ravage heal and Ravage mana so I can spam it on a creep wave after weakening them a bit so I can finish them off mana-free and get a ton of health back. In on case I had an Illidan and Malfurion on me and using a nearby creep wave to spam Ravage on I was able to heal and pounce right back and stay alive long enough to kill Malfurion and let the team kill Illidan. Also, any time her full combo lands and murders an Assassin feels so good, especially if it's Nova and Kerrigan goes: 'Nice try blondie, you're still second best!'. Many heroes, especially Assassins also grossly underestimate how strong Zagara is in a 1v1. So many times do I see an enemy Valla or Kerrigan jump on me, only to die fast to double Mutalisks, Banelings in the face and a Drop Pod on their head, all the while auto-attacking and (usually) healing on creep. So much fun when they rush in, think they have me and I just murder them with 50% health left. | ||

The best part was, I could even hearthstone back home. *hrrr* P.S.: I know that was bad play, but we were so far ahead and I just wanted to see if I could pull it off. ;D | ||

Then suddenly we defend one of their pushes, Zeratul goes out on the map and steals the boss as they are close to finishing it, Diablo, Tychus and I do both bruiser camps and we push with everything we have. Golem was keeping them busy on the north and we just killed their middle keep and the core pushing with 8 bruisers, 4 people and Abathur's monstrosity buffed by the symbiote. Was a pretty sick win. | ||

Tangling roots 2, Nova tries to gimp tychus from behind, Renew, Tranq, INB4 ZERATUL, Pop rewind, Renew Tyrande, Tangling Nova + Zeratul @ back, All in under ~4 seconds, All while spamming Moonfire. Everyone survives, They all die to my imba saves / CC. I fucking single handedly won that shit right there, it was epic, you all would have been proud, i threw my hand in the air, stood up and walked the fuck out of my bedroom where only my sleeping wife lay. | ||

We had been on a bit of a tear a five game win streak when Blizzards match making in it's infinite wisdom thought to place us scrubs against these gods of Heroes. Needless to say we got slammed in <10 mins. I think the game was on erho's stream. Didn't help that our Jaina was lagging the whole game, but I don't think it would have mattered. Would have been nice to contend for a kill though. I always wanted to be good enough in starcraft to be matched against semi-pros on ladder but could never make the cut, but today it happened to me in Heroes! Although I think it was more blizzards shit match making rather than us being "good" enough to be matched against these guys, it was still a pretty awesome moment for me. :D Hopefully we keep improving and this isn't the last time we play against some guys of this caliber again, but the new match making changes may put an end to that. + Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/HjrtppG.png) | ||

I used to keep dying all the time after jumping into a fight but I've learned to be a bit more careful with that as well as getting Bolt of the Storm over Nexus Blades. As a result, I'm dying a lot less now and getting a pounce combo on a fleeing hero is so satisfying. In one case a Raynor and Nova were running away, I pounce on Raynor and throw down the combo. Nova dies to just the grasp and Raynor dies to being grasped into the spikes for a clean double kill. Even in the game we lost, I managed to avoid dying to much (only twice, both times to good CC from the enemy team) whilst still zoning a bit with the stun and nabbing Sylvanas a few times. Now if only Kerrigan didn't run out of mana so fast... | ||

We did have a good Nova and Tychus though and I was pretty in the middle with Zagara. So we did some good backstabbing and got a few Tributes and kills, but always were 2 levels behind. At around level 20 we had 0 keeps left and they 5. It was just defending and dieing but they didn't get to the core. At that point I said fuck this and upgraded Maw on level 20. So the next tribute they would get the curse and both bosses were up. Enemy team decided to do their boss and Nova blind Precision Striked them. They were low but decided to go in anyway. mawed 2 and blocked the rest from escaping. One used her escape and ran into my arms while Nova got the other. Last one was fleeing, but I was mounted and landed a Maw on her. So at that point I realized that Maw doesn't have to kill the heroes to get the cooldown reduction (yes I though that for some reason). Had to defend the boss and Mercs so couldn't capitalize on the team wipe. But it gave us breathing room. And Raynor and Illidan derped soon again so we needed that. but it was 3 Forts vs 0 by now ! History repeated itself at every boss and tribute fight though everytime we backstabbed them, but were a bit to late always and they had a boss running we needed to stop. But we clawed our way back and won when we could steal the boss from them. Favorite moment was when my Maw killed 3 heroes that were trying to grab a tribute. But the game was so random with Illidan doing his thing not caring about objectives, but always eager to do mercs. While Raynor was blindling running to every objective even if 4 of them where confirmed being close and he was the only one alive. The Enemy team did make many little mistakes though the whole game. Especially not taking care of my creep while they had tons of skills that could do it. | ||

Not sure if having more damage than Kael'Thas says something about him or me, Locust Swarm can do quite a bit of damage. Their Zagara was annoying as hell though. Literally kept waiting till I used Locust Swarm before using Maw. You can guess who got all the Terrors. Game did go back and forth, bad early game, evening out mid game and small advantage late game. Eventually a team fight was won at the right time and we went for a terror and nailed the core. | ||

She then used it to get to the other side of the shrine but she went to our side of it so I knew she was likely to turn back beneath the shrine. I couldn't see her like you can below in the replay due to the fog of war but I figured that was the most likely course of action for her. So I put the combo underneath the bush even though I couldn't see her and sure enough, Sylvanas walked right into it. Just had an epic game of throws on Garden QM in a tripple tank 2 assassins game. Mura, Chen, Etc, Raynor and Tychus VS Anub, Chen Diablo, Nazeebo and Valla. Everything went smoothly in our favor because their Diablo was probably the weakest player. But at 16 ... Blood 4 Blood and Imposing Presence on the enemy team (on 20 Diablos AoE Blood 4 Blood joined the list of problems). So their Valla with a life leech auto attack build suddenly became a huge pain in the ass. Luckily atleast our Raynor took giant slayer. Nights went really funny as we always took top and they bot. Until I tried to help ETC get some of the bot stuff, i knew it was a bad idea but didn't felt like pinging. We had way more Siege damage, but they only went for the middle and got 1 keep first. They allined on the core though and failed hard, we got 2 keeps in return with our next terror. Attempting to save the person in our Terror that got the 2 keeps, we got into another fight and went lost 2 vs 1, but Diablo revived. Chen an ETC on our side down. But they used their ults. I wanted to do Mercs, but saw that they went straight for our Core, so we prepared to defend. 20 already hit and I was the only one with hardened shield. Poked a little bought some time and then jumped in and went for the DDs who went to far forward and stood in between the tanks. With our Ults and reviving ETC and Chen, we got 4 of them. But Raynor and me were down. Tychus on 40% hp didn't go for a heal and everyone went straight to the core. I didn't feel like pinging saying they should do mercs as they were all up. So all 3 died took one with them. And Raynor and me grabbed some seeds for a Terror. They got a Terror before us and were going at our core again. They took our core down to 86% because their Terror just a clicked it and went down in flames. Luckily their Nazeboo decided to get more seeds so it worked out well. We went for the core but got caught in a bad spot, but this time 4 of us could disengage. Which triggered an all in by them. But they used all their ults and B4B. So we had no problem defending. Since 2 lanes were pushed in our favor we could end it finally. 44 vs 29 kills in 29 minutes. Was a funny brawl as everyone played well to the very end. (Well the enemy diablo needed a lil kick it seems) Also most takesdown ! Sadly Tychus beat me on the least deaths and he was always there when there was a fight. | ||

I always struggle with him to use all of his abilities and talents (had Protective Shield, Cleanse, Shrink Ray and Benediction) in the hectic chaos that is a teamfight but this time I managed to keep it under control in most of the teamfights and it was such a back and forth game, with our core at 3% (and they had a Leoric!) but eventually managing a Web Weaver push into a victory. The early game was a bit rougher and we had an Anub that liked to burrow charge into a teamfight (and then out of my range to heal) but as level 20 hit it evened out and we started winning the teamfights. At one amazing moment we were defending a Web Weaver push whilst the enemy team had two heroes down so we tried boss after but the enemy team managed to come back in time. However, with all the heals, the protective shield, shrink ray and benediction, I managed to keep two (and eventually just Valla) alive long enough to draw it out and sneak out the boss capture. She eventually died shortly after I did, but I came back with the lvl 20 talent right on top of a low health Thrall whom I hilariously killed. Nova tried her best to kill me and for like 10-15 seconds I was constantly at 1 pixel bar of health but with Shrink Ray, Cleanse and Protective Shield coming back I managed to actually sneak out of there. Such an amazing feeling when such a tight and close fight happens and you come out alive. Normally I prefer Malfurion for healing (much easier hero for that) but I went for Uther since we had a Kerrigan. However, instead I ended up mostly Divine Shielding Muradin, with Anub and Kerrigan only needing it once or twice. Muradin would just jump in, the whole enemy team would instantly try and kill him, he gets Divine Shielded, heals from me and back in he goes. They also tried to gank me a few times but usually I managed to get out, only have to use Divine Shield twice the whole game. I wasn't always able to save everyone but especially when a hero gets low, I jump in, shield + triple heal from Benediction and then Shrink Ray on the chasing Thrall only for him to then die to the hero he was chasing is so good. Just an awesome game that couldn't have been closer.  | ||

We had first picks Jaina/Lili...I was a bit worried about the Lili pick so early, especially with things like Sylvanas or ANY TARGETED STUN still on the table (luckily, the other team was equally as bad). But if that weren't bad enough, the next two picks were Sgt. Hammer and Gazlowe together -_-. So in desperation, I said Fuck it, and went for a second support -- Tassadar -- instead of a warrior. BEST CHOICE EVER. This composition was miraculous on Infernal Shrines. With some good positioning from the tank and the insane amount of healing/shielding from Tassadar and Lili along with the entrenchment of Gazlowe's turrets, it was impossible for them to compete with us at shrines, even if they went all out and dived the tank super hard. Oh, and Force Wall <3. It was a surprisingly potent composition that allowed us to control space unquestionably and easily scoop up Punisher after Punisher. Would it work against a less dumb draft from the opponents? Probably not, but in any case, it was a really cool draft that ended up looking really solid after I was in real doubt about our chances of winning. | ||

We reached level 20 somehow and picked up Orbital Blunt Force Gun. Destroyed 3 forts and 2 keeps with it while defending our base. Kept the talent run through the middle to disrupt their ambush rotation and won the game in the end | ||

Map was Towers and we were behind 12:40 and 1-2 levels. My team (all SoloQ) went at each others throats like no tomorrow. Our Li-Ming had half the damage and double the death of the enemy Li-Ming Our Tyrande missed every freaking stun Our KT got picked of by the enemy zeratul too many times to count Our Greymane and Raynor (Me) were playing Ok'ish but far from good The enemy team had OP Rehgar So, as you can see, enough stuff to be toxic about. Everyone wanted to report everyone. I said: "NO, i'm not reporting for just playing bad as long as ppl try." Got flamed obviously Told them: "All muted!" but didn't actually mute anyone. Tried further to deescalate the situation with calming/ motivating words like "at least he tried", "nice, 1 for 1 is good if we behind" "dat stun!" and good play. Me and Greymane eventually picked off some strays so we clearly won the next objective phase. Team was slowly calming down. Proceed to win next TF convincingly Team was slowly gaining hope. Score by now is 12:20 Proceed to win next TF more than convincingly Get all keeps Dance in the middle of the map while our core shots enemys core to GG Final Score= 12:0 Levels= 28:27 Game duration=31 mins Side note: The stacks i gathered in those 31min...88 freaking stacks! | ||

It helps that he suggested this after we got firstpick rehgar, and the rest of the team asked for advice on what to pick. We also got a li-ming and muradin, making the comp really solid. Very strange and positive experience just trusting a stranger like that. PS-- congrats on rank 1! | ||

These things happen almost every game for me now that I am learning how to make plays happen with falstad. Mighty gust is quite possibly the most fun ult in the game. Though I have been having trouble finding places on battlefield of eternity to get good use out of it... | ||

All five of the enemy team were solo queue. Their Illidan was lvl 20, their Abathur was lvl 18 (went Monstrosity). Shortest game ever. Too weird. Too funny. Huh? | ||

Awesome game yesterday, I was tired, 1st pick so I went ETC. The opposite team gets Illidan, Xul and Diablo. My team, despite my warnings that I'll have trouble peeling those 3, pick Zag, Raynor, KT and Morales. Friggin' Morales with no frontline versus a dive team. This game was awesome, I only peeled all game, protected my team like a boss, followed guys who overextended.... and they did tons of damage. We should have lost this, especially if the opponent successed in being more coordinated. Felt so good. Next game we have the opposite configuration (me 1st pick ETC), all divers + jaina, vs 1 warrior Abathur team. Wiped them. Without a doubt my 2 best games with ETC ever. | ||

Even had a game, Me as Abby, where a guy defended me from verbal attacks from the useless Raynor. Dunno the exact words anymore but went sth like this: Raynor: Aba you are bad .... Noob Aba ... Died bc loser Aba ... Me (Abby): What ?? I don't even Friendly guy: Dude, Aba is basically carrying your ass this whole game. Last pick of my team, ETC pre selected. The reds pick ETC last. And I really only play ETC. No other warrior (I'm ok with Leoric but he's useless at peeling vs their Greymane). So they advise I take Muradin. First ever HL game with him (and I probably haven't played Muradin in a year or so), and we stomp them. He's like stupid easy to play. I missed all my stuns in the first 5 minutes, and then we rocked them. Hard. My only death is on their core on our last push, and I participated in 100% of our takedowns. EZ. | ||

(took medivac instead of stim with our comp being sonya/KT/johanna/abba/medic. Oddish said it might have sac'd too much teamfight potential, since we didn't get opportunities for strategic plays) | ||

The game was disgusting with my only dying because I flew into fountain when low on health as we ended with boss on core. I'd always avoided getting him before, thinking he isn't a good solo queue hero and the only melee assassin I've played properly was Kerrigan. But I figured, since he is coming back into the meta a lot I'll learn to play him. And with a Morales and Abathur for support and ETC for more attack speed, Illidan is a ton of fun to play. With the level 4 talent that allows you to Dive to friendlies, he is also a lot safer to play than what I thought he would be. He can still get blown up easily but with good support you can just keep dancing around targets and sustaining yourself. It was already a good game when it happened. We just got bottom keep on Tomb of the Spider Queen. Already there we got two enemy heroes down, mostly thanks to Blades of Azzinoth, which is an amazing talent, granting you a whopping 75% attack damage bonus. Coupled with Thirsting Blade on 7, the lvl 20 Metamorphosis and the support I had, I just did not die. Period. I ended up killing nearly the entire enemy team near the keep with just my own abilities when I figured, since the enemy team is mostly dead, we could threaten core. However, the rest of my team was getting a bit low and just as the core shields fell, the enemy team was respawning. Luckily, they all crowded around their core and I got off two Sweeping Strikes that instantly refilled Blades of Azzinoth. Even with the core shooting me for most of it, the enemy team just couldn't kill me. With the attack speed buff from Abathur and ETC, my health came back as hard as it dropped. I stayed on near death health (< 10%) for atleast a solid 5 - 10 seconds with the core shooting me aswell but the enemy team just couldn't last as long and they ended up all dying to Illidan, though half my team was dead as well when that was over. At this point the core was all that was left and I was able to solo it easily, winning the game. I just didn't die when I really really should have. The self sustain he has with support and Blades of Azzinoth is amazing. Not bad for a first ever game on Illidan. | ||

It was Thrall from the previous game, he was banning for the other team. That awesome feeling when people ban your main hero because they thought you were a threat and played well. :-) I can't imagine the amount of flame he got from his team, it's not like Nova has a great winrate on hotslogs. But it was a good move as it's really my best hero, by far. We end up winning though (I took BW). | ||

Enemy bans KT. I ban Li-Ming Enemy picks Rexxar. We lock in Tracer and Zagara. Enemy team lock in Jaina and Uther. I ban Falstad. They ban Rehgar. We pick ETC and Morales. They pick Thrall and Artanis. So here I am on my last pick. Team says "we have only 1 damage dealer, lock in assassin". (obv Zagara is a specialist). So I start thinking. My Thrall was taken away, I don't want to pick Zeratul into 3 bruisers+Uther, my Sonya is terrible. Then I noticed Jaina is their only ranged damage dealer and did the only sensible thing. Locked in my level 5 Chen for the first time in HL. Best game of my life. 0 deaths, most tanked damage and 3rd most dealt damage in the entire game. I bullied Thrall in the lane and then removed Jaina from every fight while also securing other kills. It was amazing. I fucking love playing Chen. all hail the panda king | ||

So today, my friend and I end up with this R1 guy and his R20 friend Morales (he literally only plays Morales). We play, they get greedy and I ping them to back like A LOT after an immortal push. They don't back, they die to their Illidan chasing (and 4 guys following), I use my Q and W to peel (ETC) but then OOM and not willing to suicide for 2 greedy kids I part ways. They die, one of them was Tracer, how can you overextend so much you get chased 30 full seconds on bot lane and die WITH TRACER ! So they both insult me, and not a little "fuck you". No, they stop playing and type a lot. I mute + report + tell them to not waste their APMs. They were already salty in draft, the rank 20 flamed me because I last pick ETC vs their Johanna. I end up best tank, 1 death (all my team is at 3-4), and 2 game changing Mosh Pits. I mean, the R1 guy is a dick, but somehow he made it to R1 so ok, I can understand he thinks the whole world is filled with noobs (he's wrong of course). But the R20 was living in a world of dreams where R20 people can call everyone noob (me and my friend are R6). Next game I play versus them. They pawn us until mid game (6 forts to 3, 3 levels behind when they get level 12). Then 1 of the toxic kids gets greedy on lane AS TYRANDE, probably to tease us. I kill him (Nova). From this point we wipe them on boss (they get boss and kill me though) and we rock their face again and again from now on. They couldn't do anything at all. So I spent a good amount of time trolling them after the game, sending troll message, then blocking them again so that they can't reply, then trolling, then blocking... It was so good. SO GOOD. | ||

We get 1st pick KT. They get 2 warriors, Stitches Tyrael. So I say "hey guys don't go for greedy picks we need some melee heroes". We get Lunara Nazeebo. (sure, why adapt to the other team ?) They get Artanis Nova (3 warriors, and we have 3 of the biggest DPS of the game, but no frontline) My friend and I have no available melee healer. If we pick anything but 2 frontline CC heavy heroes, we lose. We know that for sure, so that rules out a healer. So we go for no heal and pick ETC + Muradin. Malfurion Our team kinda complains but understands why. And what a game it was, they almost never could harm KT / Lunara / Nazeebo in the entire game. With 2 fat-asses heavy CC heroes like Muradin and ETC, they had no hope to reach our DPS, they had not enough heal, and no DPS at all since we never let Nova do damage. 15 minutes of laughing at how unlikely it was to crush them that much without healer at all. | ||

So yesterday evening / night in HL solo queue i met the most laidback ppl in HL I've ever met and the most amazing thing is that for a few games in a row, with different ppl almost any game, I had so much FUN! Did not expect to have FUN with this game ever again, lol. Just from the getgo we were macking jokes, when someone was ganked we laughed and said stuff like "dayum you got destroyed there mate lol". When we lost a teamfight everyone was like "sorry guys, my fault" and then the next said "what? no totally my fault dude" and then "what are you talking about?? I totally whiffed that" and so on. In 5 games I lost one but it was still really fun and had 2 amazing comeback that would have never been possible with the kind of toxic assholes you normally meet. In one game on Tomb we had no structure left vs 5 structures but they couldn't kill us. So at 28mins in the game we almost wipe them, get turn in and dedcimate 4 of the 5 structures left. We didn't wanna risk anything cause we got another turn in line up. We then turn in again and voila, we win. Another game was on Dragon Shire. Also behind the whole game. We then kill their Sylvanas 2 times on the map and then, I'm guessing, it became toxic on their team because everything after was easy as pie. ha, FUN, wow. Just when I stopped believing in it's existence ... Good times | ||

I knew I was better than my rank last season suggested (always around Gold 2-4), but for whatever reason I could not climb - now it works out insanely well. + the Promo match for Dia III was kind of awesome: We get wrecked all game on Cursed Hollow. Never get a Curse, they get 2 of them. We got no Keep left, they only lost one Fort so far. Multiple Merc Camps and 5 opponents are pushing our core, basically the entire region around our core is covered in red... ... Jaina lands a good Ring of Frost and I as Kerrigan hit my combo + Maelstorm. 4 of them die immediately. We just rush their core and win. Not the most masterful way of getting promoted, but whatever :D | ||

A Sgt Hammer, while they already picked Chromie and Illidan. Hammer pretty much just dies all game, does less dmg than our Auriel. They push all the lanes, kill us nonstop, are insanely far ahead. At the 15min mark, I hit a 4-man-stun as Kerrigan, their entire team is wiped out and in the 30-40sec they are dead, we push mid Fort+Keep+Core. xD I really love the game right now. I am pretty much constantly on some kind of streak. If I'm on a losing streak, I lose the most idiotic games and if I'm on a winning streak, I even win the games I should not be able to win. :D ... great while on a winning streak, really fucking frustrating while on a losing streak. | ||

By the time we won, I had taken 2 of their towers and they had split their team up so badly trying to clean up the mess I made that we took an uncontested boss and won. Twice a single hero would come to try and stop me, and I just killed them. Bone Prison + Executioner + Mages can be so satisfying. Our 4 man was just roaming and ganking with impunity because I was forcing so much attention. It didn't help that they didn't draft much wave clear. | ||
