Anything helpful you say is going to be ignored more than listened to and if they listen, it is more likely to be taken as an insult to their abilities and start a flame war. Then as people start to behave sensibly higher up, you start ease out of doing this and doing the right thing instead. | ||

first game, dude first pick Nova and the rest of the team picks double warrior and double support, he ends up having lowest DPS and rages at the team for not doing the right thing. Also for me going taunt, when the only other warrior we have is a Sonya and the fact that Tracer is on the other team, but okay buddy. Thanks for the loss. Second game: Someone suggests Vikings, and since I have 200+ viking games with around 65-70 winrate I think yay. So I pick them. Then the rest of the team picks Artanis, Dehaka, Varian and Brightwing. We have no range. And then the team rages on me, saying the loss is my fault. Well except Dehaka who defends me. In reality Varian was last pick and supposed to pick range DPS of some sort, but yeah okay, my fault. Third game: A good game, but we just lose on hanamura because we are worse at minding and splitting payloads. I honestly don't have much of a problem with this game, the other team just played better. Still yet another loss sucks. I don't know if I'm just shit or unlucky, either way my 70% winrate after 20 games have turned to 45% and my climb to plat 4 is gone as I'm now drowning in gold 2. Tell me I'm not only one here. This game does not reward effort from 1 player if the rest of the team don't even try. The third game I can live with, but the other two kills me inside. I've told myself I'll now only play 3 hero league games each day, but when I end up losing all 3 I just want to uninstall and never touch this god forsaken game again. I need a hobby. it just seems so unfair to me when I watch a lot of my friends make it to diamond and I think and play at just about the same level as them. Whatever, blizzard don't seem to give two fucks about players like me who inside are really try hard and just want good games. I tried posting something simple, decently articulated and none rude/angry on the heroes of the storm youtube page, but it just got deleted. | ||

The point of this map is the payload, if we push it we gain experience" There was a weirdly bright moment when they said "Alright, fucker, we'll do it your way. Ping us where you want us to go since we've already lost this game thanks to you." Whereupon we wound up reaching 16 before them and wiping them twice. But then my teammates turned on each other, arguing over who had the most hero damage, and then they started charging in 1v5 to pad their stats. I'm finally starting to tilt when I see Hanamura. I don't think the map is objectively bad, really. I'm not even convinced it needs tweaks until after people figure it out. But god, is it painful to see people refuse to figure it out. | ||
