Oh yeah, the traits. She has some cool ones, but spamming q-e mindlessly in every fight is not much. I'll still play her, because she's fun, but they should really consider making some serious tweaks to her, because even if she is aimed for newbies, they won't learn much by playing such a(n almost) 0-decision making hero. Raynor or Valla are much better heroes to teach newcomers, because their skillset is very easy to use, and most of their skills have good immidiate effects, but at least they require you to hit a skillshot, or aim where you jump. Edit: oh, and I do not understand her passive. I mean, why is it on a champion like her? 4 out of your 5 skills are already autotargetting, and giving her a speed boost in fights or chases to make AUTOTARGETING easier is just mindblowingly uninspirational. | ||

I guess I'll just blame the influx of murkies for my losses. Disclaimer: not pro-player, but I do fine when I play Uther. I definitely take cleanse instead of the 100% when dead, being able to counter the opponenst CC is super useful and can win you fights. I usually take shrink ray at 13, as it also has a lot utility for winning you teamfights, or helping you get away from a tiny illidan. At 16 I usually take Gathering radiance also, but sometimes I'll take Holy Shock, as it can help get kills when you need it, but mostly that's more for when we are pretty far ahead. Mostly I think your build is decent, but the added utility of cleanse and shrink ray are almost must haves for me. As for HOW to play, you need to be somewhere between the two extremes you just mentioned. You should not be initiating fights, and if focused you need to get to safety. But if you hang back you just made your E useless, as well as the talent you took for it, and you've made your ult very hard to land. You gotta mix it up but not be in the very front, usually you won't be focused, but if you are, back the heck up and don't be shy about using a heal on yourself. | ||

Shield at level 4, Divine Storm at level 10, Sprint at level 13, and Divine Hurricane at level 20 are the go-to talents for Uther. At level 7, cleanse and clairvoyance are my two favorites, depending upon how badly I need the cleanse. If you have Illidan on your team or some other melee assassin, take cleanse. At level 16, you have some options. I usually take hardened focus. However, if the enemy team is really hating on me, then I take imposing presence. | ||

I was just discussing this with Shiro and Kadaver the other day, so you can thank them for the suggestions contained here: The build I suggest is: Conjurers Pursuit Protective Shield Holy Devotion Divine Storm Shrink Ray Gathering Radiance Divine Hurricane Conjurers Pursuit helps in dealing with Uther's mana issues, Protective Shield gives you an ability to help make up for the cooldowns on your heals, holy devotion is actually a situational slot, sometimes you prefer cleanse or clairvoyance. I'm fond of clairvoyance against zeratul and on maps like cursed hollow. Divine storm is just awesome. Sprint vs Shrinkray is a debatable discussion, shrink ray cripples an enemy badly, sprint lets you run into 4 heroes and divine storm. Spell shield has its place against bursty ability damage compositions. I just like gathering radiance at 16, hardened focus might be better though, I'm not actually sure. Divine Hurricane is a fantastic ulti upgrade and almost always worth taking, Storm shield can be good, but it just doesn't compare IMO. Anyway, hopefully this helps! | ||
