Also has anyone encountered a situation where heroes you own aren't pickable in ranked? Their portraits show up dark like heroes I don't own and game won't allow me to pick them. Kept happening to my Uther in quite a few games. Really seemed like a bug but could be some weird feature I missed. | ||

If you hover it and let the timer expire, it'll override the bug and lock in who you wanted anyway. | ||

my experience so far: whiny players give up and harass if u pick something they don't want. I pick murky, complain 4v5, end up winning, butt hurt. (his CC makes up for everything and his luring ability/damage push makes him count) getting hooked means u r a bad player even though hooks are practically %100 easier than dota. tychus first pick all game every day. mainly because thrall is expensive. Tychus-Thrall>Stiches>Muradin-Illidan-witchdoctor-Arthas-Raynor-Brightwing-LiLi-Hammer>(Insert other assasins/warriors) | ||

I usually tend to go Brightwing over Tychus first because at ultra-lower ranks (curently 43) in too many of the games I don't pick Brightwing someone picks Malfurion and goes solo laning with him. Hammer is awesome, too, but as she is a final pick I rarely get to take her. Unsure if I want to spend money/gold on Thrall or Stitches as I dislike playing melees. | ||
