Im thinking of how they can reasonably help us counter OP garbage like Reno, Entomb, cards like that. Need the card to be neutral too. As long as you don't have quick action cards that you can play on your opponent turn, the only way to do that is with cards like Loatheb that would just impact the next battlecry minion/spell on the next turn, and this is way too easy to play around for 1 turn

If you seriously think Reno and Entomb need counters you havent played Hearthstone in the past year.

But he ended up not ever seeing play outside amusing Shredder disasters. Conceivably they could try that concept again.

The game needs more cards that fit in particular decks. Yes a 4/2 divine shield for 4 is pretty robust in and of itself very close the the Yeti in terms of value (with even bigger upside when trading up if no pinged happened). And the +2+2 on C'thun at Turn 4 means there is indeed a decent chance for the klaxxi druid cards to reach the 4/10 status in the mid-game: a 4/10 is nearly better then the druid of the claw in Taunt mode (minus the taunt and the sensitivity to silence). Meaning that if you have played on the 2 drops before: this guy at 4 mana and then the klaxxi at 5 is a perfectly acceptable curve (even better if you can find something to do with 1 floating mana).

http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/20063483/whispers-of-the-old-gods-say-c’thun-three-times-fast-3-16-2016 Ancient Shieldbearer 6/6 for 7 Mana Battlecry: If your C'thun has at least 10 attack: gain 10 Armor. Seems to be neutral so I guess: plenty of armor for everybody \o/ A big heal for the stabilization needed to run C'Thun deck then. Those deck looks more and more like control than Mid-range. We will see but will probably see play in a C'thun decks. Warrior gets the bets of it becaus eof teh armor synergy but can also profit Warlock C'thun a great deal: since neutral healing tends to always be a great boon for teh Warlock. Edit: seems to be a Warrior card (the golden version does not help identify the class easily).

Also makes me wander if all the class C'thun cards will be of the if C'thun is big enough buff this card variant. and all eth neutral of the buff C'thun variant. That seems to be the tendency for now.

C'Thun givith and C'Thun taketh away(Corrupted Healbot). On a more serious note seems like a great card for a Warrior C'Thun deck helps deal with aggro while your well stated minions keep you competitive with midrange and control and then C'Thun seals the deal 6/6 for 7 isn't terrible stats either. Also love the cards C'Thun makes better being less reliant on one card from your deck is always a good thing in my opinion.

That seems to be the tendency for now. I expect some variety in the cards, but as long as each class gets 1 card that interacts with C'Thun I expect it to be interesting enough. The fun part of building a certain type of deck, like Dragons, is twisting the neutral core of cards around with what all the classes have to offer, like a Rubiks Cube, I see the same thing with C'Thun.

Dunno my feelings towards the 7 drop. Its strong but do warriors really want to be running a Cthun deck?

I feel like if they wants to run a C'thun deck that would entirely be to make this card works. I mean compare her to Shield Maiden (a staple of Warrior decks) one more mana for +1/+1 and +5 armor with a cons of the armor gain being conditional. This is still extremely strong. The question is can run the package: - Shield bearer *2 - Beckonner of Evil *2 - C'thun Servant *2 - C'thun In a control warrior. the only one that really doe snot field with the way those are usually build are the 2* Beckonner of evil. that would replace more or less: - 2 of Armor-smith/Cruel Task Master/Slam/Whirlwind/Revenge - 2 Piloted Shredder - 2 Shield Maiden - 1 high end legendary (Alexstrazza?) Overall seems reasonable to me. Would be harder to fit in the new type of Elise build that we are seeing though so only time and a lot and lot of testing will tell if this is competitive or not. But looks like it could be apriori.

Reno is just a tad silly. Entomb also renders two good minons unplayable once turn 6 hits. The counter to Reno is simply to make deck that can deliver about 90 damage. No problem :D The counter to Entomb is to simply not play any good minions. Great :D What game have YOU been playing? LOL

in the video explaining C'thun there is a part about the 4 elemental lords: Ragnaros, Al'akir and Neptulon all used the image in their respective hearthstone card. And Therazane was also shown via a nice picture that I have never seen before. To me that means that Therazane is very probably a card of this extension and my bet is very high on it/her being the Shaman legendary.
