I'd go farther than that. If C'Thun Druid is viable, this card will be one of the reasons. It's a 4/10 for 4.
No way to tell how likely it will be for this to be a 4/10 on curve, but that might be the point. On curve, it's very likely to be a 4/5, which is fine. Later, it's a great deal for the cost.

If you have Brann in play it's a 4/15 for 4. Not bad if you ask me. Then you just give it Mark of the Wild or Defender of Argus.

I like cards like this that are perfectly fine on-curve with the potential to still be strong enough if you draw them late-game. The Boneguard Lieutenant is kind-of sort-of like that, but getting a 4/10 for 4 late game would be fantastic if you weren't able to play this on-curve.
Also, I'm glad C'Thun cards aren't exclusively neutral cuz that would have been pretty lame, but if the other Old Gods get less than 16 total cards, there might not be enough to go around for each class try different Gods.

Man, how about no. Priests already have ridiculously good removal.

Half of which is being removed from standard.

Only Lightbomb / Shrink are and we already have a quasi replacement for lightbomb in Arch-Circle / Excavated Evil.

Oh, whoops. Somehow I read the thing as having the Goblin Sapper style of text.
Well, either way, it's doable in a reasonable timeframe.

Anyone else itching to make a Reno-C'thun deck once they reveal more cards? If the card quality of the cultists continues to be high, it could work.

This is dumb... there's no way a card with such a big bonus should have the best base stats a minion can get for that mana cost.

Everyone's complaint about the C'thun cards we've seen so far is that they pump up C'Thun, but aren't anything special themselves. This is a card that draws power from C'thun, and rewards you before C'thun ever enters the picture. Its effect is still somewhat conditional, but most importantly, it's there to encourage a new type of Druid deck, when a nerf to one of their only strategies ever is on the horizon. It's the perfect card, imo.

A) Class card - its allowed to beat nuetrals B) Its going against a basic card - They're also allowed to suck C) It requires conditions to be met
