Started playing on saturday, had some extra blizz dollars from diablo 3 so played about 8 arenas so far, best score was a 6-3 and nothing else above 4

I can tell i'm getting better but not enough quests to actually get gold to play it, structured gives such shitty income.

Played a Shaman who played Ysera, I froze it, then he played the faceless manipulator to copy his Ysera. Next turn he bloodlusts and plays 3 +5/+5 cards and has a 19/19 FIRE TOTEM

Oh and I was one winning 30 to 4 and got OTK'd there.

I think the reason I did so bad is because I tried mimicking the Priest deck that I've had so much success with in constructed, without taking into account that most of the cards that I will have to choose between will not be nearly the same. So I just mixed a whole bunch of incoherent, mostly high mana cost cards and it was hard for me to do anything well in those games. The 2nd game I came close to winning, but I just couldn't seal the deal. The worst run I've ever had. The consoling fact is that my Priest deck is still good along with the other classes I use mostly and I've gotten to Masters now.

Glad they are nerfing mind control. Is really fun playing arena and having a priest mc the creature i play 3 times in a row on turns 8-10. At least he had the decency to emote sorry on turns 9 and 10 t.t

0-3 with literally the worst deck ever. 0 removal cards 0 weapons outside of 1 gorehowl 0 taunt creatures in the draft at all and almost no warrior specific cards. Game gave me literally the most awful draft ive ever had. I couldnt have made a decent deck if i tried. Atleast the pack was good

Got my first 9 win arena with this deck. I'm not even really sure how it happened, but I'm pretty stoked. Played 3-4 priests, I think one person I might've even hit twice. Warlock, Shaman, Warrior, Hunter, and 3 Pallys. Lost to the Warrior and a Pally. Went 3-1, 6-2, 9-2.

Easier wins I was able to flood the board around turn 6-7 with tons of minions thanks to summoning portal, Sunfury was definitely clutch in a couple games, but only draw both 2-3 times. Don't have the cards or dust to recreate, have no idea how this would do as a constructed, but I'd be curious enough to try it out

Hopefully with blizzcon over they can fix some of these bugs. I've had two arena runs with decent chance at 7-9 wins get stunted by a disconnect, one I suspect forced by my opponent because I A) never disconnect and B) just made a good play, and another by the brewmaster bug, not sure if my opponent did it intentionally or not, but again they were getting stomped and it seems to happen from people with shitty pc's/connections replaying the card too fast. That or there is a trick to it and people play it when they are losing. So two 5-3's in a row that should have been at least 6-3's, current score is 3-1, decent draft, lets see if I can make it through this run.

Woot, last night was a good night, the run that started 3-1 the night before finished 9-1. Win #9 wasn't looking good for the home team and then I topdecked flamestrike just after my opponent played their hand, felt a little guilty when I won, but then again I've been on the other end of such luck enough before and I don't overextend. Got 2 packs and 230 gold.

After that I did my daily, 2 wins on my main, pally. Game 1 I didn't get a 2 drop, he played a berserker so the only play I had in my hand turn 3 was a ssc which he fiery war axed the following turn. Thought about conceding on the spot, but continued playing and was able to turn it around.

I got a really good deck as a mage yesterday and faced HotBid while 7-2. Won with flamestrike on turn 7.

Good news everyone! I did arena after one week hiatus and buying packs, but playing more and watching Blizzcon tournament I learned a lot. Today I had 9-1 Druid and 9-2 Rogue runs ;D (before i had 5 best!). Got 3 packs, around 370 gold and 2 gold cards. Amazing day in HS.

PS Crazed Alchemist + Shadowstep won me at least half of Rogue games. Killing 0-4 taunts with it is hilarious.

You can be miles ahead (I had 3 or 4 minions on the board against his 0, +2 cards in hand) and still lose. It doesn't make any sense.

Oh and he had exactly 13 damage against my 13 hp.

I've had a few games where i'm miles and miles ahead and about to kill him with my basic set, and he brings out 2 legendarys and completely turns the game around.

Well, the problem with Deathwing is that it clears the board. If you're ahead you can eventually get rid of other powerful legendaries with 2 or 3 minions/spells (I had enough firepower to kill Ysera).

Nothing quite like drawing Tirion Fordring when you've got nothing left. I suppose Deathwing could be better if they're spamming the board with stuff, but I'd take Tirion most of the time.

Good arena run. 8-3 with a good priest deck. Three holy novas, two mind controls, and lots of good 3/4 mana cards. Almost nothing in 2, no northshire clerics or shadow words, but still a good deck.

Lost against an aggro hunter who kept board advantage, a priest with a similar deck to mine but better drops, and a mage who did ice block + fireball two turns in a row against my godlike board position.
