Yes, to sell the accounts. There's quite a lot of people doing it. Some are even renting out their accounts to people.
But yeah, there are a lot of people posting old keys simply to get a lot of followers. It's best to keep an eye out for the giveaways on gaming sites. I got mine from @MeriStation, a pretty big Spanish gaming site. Not sure if they're still giving them away, but they'd give out like 10 daily on Twitter and a whole lot more on their website.

Got a key in the mail from opt-in. It landed in the spam folder so didnt noticed it until today (came 4 days ago) Downloading it now

I really don't see a system in Blizzard giveaway system, and I hope there is none.
I haven't got a single Betakey in Blizzard games, ever and I've been playing Blizzard games for ever.
The only thing that gives me closure is the thought that it's completely random and I'm just unlucky.

I finally broke down and just paid for one a few days ago. Cost me $90.
I thought I'd regret it, but I've been playing non-stop since I did it, and even though I would have gotten it for free eventually my schedule at the moment has cut off my social life for the month and I was super bored. I've absolutely gotten $90 worth of fun out of it.

I wish Blizzard would just cancel HS. The closed beta discussion on Bnet FB and even here brought up the worst and most annoying and pathetic people and posts i have ever read on the interwebs.
Opt-In works btw. Beta Keys now are worth a PS3 Slim + controller + GTA V :D wtf.

well cant remember a game i played 11h straight without having a clue what I am actually doing
+ im glad im not into Arena (did 2 Arenas), maybe later when I have studied the game enough I will do it again, but the impression from streams were "omg arena is way to go"
edit: yes i also think its silly to pay that much for a soon to be f2p game so :p

And blizzard just sent me their 5th crap mail about WoW/D3, I was again so happy to see a blizzard mail in my mailbox just to be disappointed a 5th time in a row in about a week. Comon blizz, its my bday next week :D
