I do not get it.Does blizzard pay them to stream hearthstone or do they just give them free betakeys to promote it.Because now i see saintvicious playing hearthstone and I know for sure he doesn't have any blizzard game installed

And at the moment everybody wants to play it, because not many have keys. In the end streamers are also only gamers like the rest of us. Also you get viewers when you play it (some streamers more than they normally do), so its win/win.

It kind of peaked too early and I think it will hurt them come release time. I doubt they will care. They will get enough people buying packs on day 1 anyways (or the occasional arena), plus all the packs people will buy in the beta time.

Plus the game is fun and people seem to enjoy watching it. People always want to check out the new thing and watch their favorite players play different games. I watched Grubby play 2v2s with this wife because it was the most adorable thing ever.

Khaldor was not bad actually. But whining so much about his "bad luck" that I had to close his stream. :D

Heh, watching Reckful is kinda painful too right now. He's making so many bad plays, like overhealing when there is no threat whatsoever.

There will be so many addicts.
At least it's not as bad as MTGO. Magic the Gathering online costs $13-$14 to draft and it's not too likely you'll make enough in prizes to do another draft. Tons of people are addicted to it...

I'm a CCG/TCG noob, can you explain what you mean when you say "$13 to draft". Is that similar to paying to play in the Arena for HS?

play something new not everyone can play is guaranteed viewers. So Win Win situation for Blizzard and the Streamer.

A draft is different for each card game, but when you get a basic set of cards as a base and a set number of booster packs to build a deck out of. There are a bunch of different rules as to how it works, but it costs a set amount to get all those cards. You then use that deck to play against other players with the same restrictions.

Ive always thought of CCG/TCG's as completely pay-to-win and i guess they openly admit that to an extent but the thing is:
You can go out and buy a really "rare" / expensive deck and as long as you know how to use that deck and you're not a complete bukkake you'll crush people because they simply never / rarely play against those cards and dont know how to deal with it.
Its like in a game of LoL/Dota laning against some hero/champ you've never seen when the guy plays him very well, you're going to get smashed if he's anywhere close to your relative skill . Or SC2 with some magical cheese or composition i guess.

Man they really know how to do these closed betas.. the amount of hype they generate is insane. I find myself checking my e-mail(s) constantly to look for a key.. their strategy is working on me and I'm becoming obsessed with a game I can't even play!

Looking forward to playing this one but untill I get that magic email or (the more likely) the game comes out I'll just make do with SolForge

Kungen played TB twice, they went 1-1. After I watched Trump losing to a Rogue deck.
Definitely feels like Rogue are the strongest from what I've seen in the last days. Warlock and Priest feel the weakest.
