Yeah but the beta thing takes your ip and bandwidth so you'd need a decent proxy as well.

Casual is fun as sometimes it's just fun to make a deck around an idea even if it's not a winner. I do wonder about how blizzard is going about developing cards and if they add mechanics or avoid doing so to keep things simple or what and the effects of power creep. US based company and a small side project. Plus great thing about the US only beta you get a huge audience of people to test from and you only need English which is perfect for a card game where words can matter. Also no need to convert currency since their shop is now fully operational?

That seems pretty silly. If you're not going to make it a set 20 Common 7 rare 2 epic 1 legendary or something, at least restrict the chances of getting multiple legendaries, imho.

Well it's basic, white, rare, epic, legendary. Plus mixing in class specific cards i do think how they randomly generate cards needs to be changed. I'm not sure how i feel about when the 3 cards pop up for rare + they are all rare all epic or all legendary, i think that's a cop out, i think it's a more interesting interaction if you're not picking your best rare but just the best card out of 3 if it's rare then that's because it works with your deck as well.

I will wait for the full release. Also @ Blizzard, pls make this game available for android devices O_O. If they make this for android devices, I have a feeling I will be doomed. I hear horror stories from my friends who play Rage of Ragnorok or Puzzles and Dragons and they invest hundreds (almost thousands) of dollars just to get the best stuff in-game. I never quite understood their addiction, I was never a phone-app buff to begin with anyways. But I have a feeling if this may be the end of me... Ive been watching streams all day and it looks really fun =x

Lol if people draw those cards vs me id just have horrible flashbacks to trying to kill those raid bosses in WoW and just freeze and not move and get timed out or something xD Damn...Deathwing as well /shudder Surprised how much love this game is getting, i will keep up to date with this thread but it looks a nice little designed game at the moment. Lets hope Blizzard listen to the beta participants for any changes that might be needed during the course of the BETA. GL HF!!

Went to my batte.net profile today just to peek at it and it turns out I didn't have the game checkmarked in my beta settings when I thought I already had! Well, surely they will send me an invite tomorrow now that I have done that. =D Are they inviting anyone but e-famous people atm. Havent seen a regular internet joe yet.

Yeah build and theory crafting is fine, but there come multiple concept such as saving card, mana curve, hand power that i dont think he get it. It is expected for everyone to behave like such though. The game is brand new, the cards are brand new so it takes time for them to learn shits. The thing is you can easily spot out streamers thinking process, how fast can they solve a given situation and how many variables they have taken into account to solve it. And in that field, day9 and rob were definitely the best of the whole. Man, i hope they not gona treat this like sc2 beta and drag it out for the entire quarter without ever giving me a beta key. When I watched Day9, he was pretty bad at making decisions / forgot stuff all the time. Rob was okay. That being said, I don't mind it that much and I watch JP's Stream all the time. If you want to watch someone better play, Trump is doing pretty well in arenas.
