To be fair I was playing a mage where I made a pretty impressive come back, gets towards the end and he throws down a secret, I do all the tests and finally come to the conclusion ' shit, its Ice Block '. Comes down to the last turn and there's just no way I can win, (he has lethal next turn), was going to quit but instead I just throw out a "well played" and throw my last minion into him. He then dies, turns out it was Spellbender the whole time. Assumption is the mother of all fuckups. | ||

Of course you always have to play it out I was just disagreeing with the assesment that the Warlock was sure he's winning because he should have known it's looking pretty bad. Edit: Anyways, don't wanne derail the thread, just seems weird for a Warlock in that situation to believe he's ahead but if you say that's what he believed... yes, i was making an assumption. this was why. i played the secret early on in the game (no other card to play). after that, he was constantly clearing my board and then saying "well played" and then end turn. when i get him down to two health (the turn before the screen shot), he clears my board and then plays every single card in his hand to completely fill his board and then waits and emotes "well played." i ping him, dont play a card because "who cares?" i can ping him next turn. he emotes "well played" and then slams his biggest minion into my char for instant kill (which is stupid if you know its this secret, but nevertheless he was dead anyways next turn bc of ping). when it triggers, he hovers over the char because she is all pretty and icey. i then ping him and he X's out of the game. "Opponent has left the match" or whatever it says when they ragequit the hearthstone program. so, yes, maybe he was congratulating me on being an awesome player by playing the most ridiculous secret in the game, but i doubt it. i think he thought he had won and was offensive gg'ing (similar to what he did the entire game). now, back to funny pics~! | ||
