This announcement is something a lot of people have been predicting since chrome came out with separate processes for each tab (i.e. if your app crashes it doesn't crash the whole browser and thus your entire operating system). EDIT: A couple of years ago I would have scoffed at the chance of something like this succeeding, but since recent advances in javascript extensions and some of the new html5 elements (specifically the <canvas> element) I will admit to pretty high hopes for the concept. | ||
