I don't know if I got it right but it seems like you do your RL challenge, then you have one day and go for isolation chamber, then next day decission who will be going into 1v1 and next day 1v1 battle itself? So the whole competition could be run within one month? On a side note: how the hell could (hopefuly not can) Ciji be in love with (or have cash on) Dante as shown in ep1 and ep2, wtf! He already said that it took a few weeks, I think 3.

edit: The show is really cool and I hope and think it'll survive another season since gaming is just part of what makes up the show

Well, I'm sure she can BR since she is past level 40 in MLG. Anyone above that won't fail at BR's I agree she obviously can't compare to T-Squared. Here is an account of a friend of mine who might be able to be at the amateur level if he could find a team (but there are still plenty better than him) http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/CareerStats.aspx?player=powerfullone177 And I figured a lot of people were watching because of Incontrol. I recognized the name and came to TL to see if you guys knew about it, obviously you did ![]() I'm still going to watch the actual gaming parts because it is slightly entertaining. After deciding to try a racing game (since I really don't play many racing games) to see how hard it is to pick something up (I tried Need for Speed Underground) .Given only a day to pick up a completely new game, I suppose they aren't that bad. Most people here probably can classify themselves as gamers so it's not that impressive because we've been more exposed to the best. I'm sure many have played and seen pros of many genres so I at least expect that. Give someone who has never played a rhythm based game Rock Band, they are bound to be pretty bad even compared to the casual player of that game.

Way to set an example by coming on a show that tries to discourage stereotypes with huge fake boobs and acting like a 12 year old girl, ugh. ...Yeah...because most gamers are tiny adorable girls with big boobs?

Honestly, Ciji fits the girl gamer stereotyped image more than Alyson, except that she's not whoring herself out in WoW. I have far more respect for her (Ciji) gaming ability in her specific genre than the rest of them.

And i'll repeat about the editing. It's clear that they are showing each person when they screw up or get a reaction out ("ringout-ringout"). Oh, and i didn't really feel like Dante was 'victim' but rather than Jamal was made of the same kind of crap than Dante, just less annoying.

Also, we were given options as to what MIGHT be picked to play, not told which it was. For instance, PGR we were given a possibilities of 3 courses, Rockband 3 songs, VF5 3 courses etc. I only say this for the gentlemen that thought we we knew what we would be playing for sure and could practice it solely that night. Also important to point out is the peripheral's used in competition so far are not the standard controller or obviously a keyboard and mouse, so other then music sync games everyone is learning for the first time, unless they had experience with the music sync games. This was not necessarily a bad idea, in fact I think it was a great idea as it puts everyone on equal playing field, including the predominately heave PC players who most certainly would have had a tough time playing these games on a controller that the others are very comfortable with. I will also say the music sync games are not calibrated correctly and anyone can see this if they watch the game screen and listen at the same time. This can be overcome by adapting to the lag quickly, but never the less makes the game that much more difficult. I had the easiest job on vocals for the game and scored a 94% on a game that I scored 100% on in practice. I literally had to close my eyes at times to keep on track and I know that the instruments can't do this since they have to watch the screen unless they have the song memorized. This really turns the competition into an adaptability, strategy, and natural gaming talent contest, which in the end I think is most certainly fair for all the contestants. You can always save yourself by gaming skills alone at the end of the day, but I will say it most certainly sucks to see someone with little experience in a particular game go against someone with alot. Please don't look at this as an excuses for any of us, it is simply a fact that most certainly effects game play throughout the competition and was a hurdle to overcome for everyone. And, uh, sorry for the book lol

Im saying she's setting a terrible example for women, which seems ironic to me because the show is trying to dismantle a stereotype. I didn't mean to imply she was a stereotypical gamer, more of a stereotypical dumb bimbo.

He's more the kind of guy this show should have looked for, but not as far as his "look" goes at least. What has Prod1gy won? Digital Life sounds nice, but it's not like he's playing 1.6 or WC3 there. If I'm not mistaken, the tournaments he won were all the debut ones (as in no one has played the game before, like their GH3/Halo3 tournaments before GH3/Halo3 were released.) And wasn't the Halo 3 he a FFA tournament or something? ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Robert has won over 9 tournaments in different games and holds 4 world records 1st place out of 300 players in Halo 3 – Global Gaming League (GGL) at 2007 Digital Life event 4th place in Guitar Hero 3 – GGL at 2007 Digital Life event 1st place in Gears of War tournament – New York City LAN 2007 4th place in Gears of War – Web2Zone 2007 tournament 1st place in In the Groove 2 tournament – 2006 NY Comic Con Gaming Jam I'm not sure what NYC LAN 2007 even means and granted w2z is one of the most prominent centers in the country, they do events every weekend and it's not like that was a major event. I'm sure he's a good overall gamer, probably one of the better in the house, but I'd still consider him a no name before the show. Anyone in another gaming community hear about him before this?
