What strikes me though is that now the show is reaching the end we know that there were no PC games played at all. That seems pretty ridiculous considering SC, Fifa and CS are the top games at WCG and only 20% of the games this year will be on consoles. | ||

The finals were pretty intense, but I felt sorry for Rob at the end... Well, if he can't bring a 4-0 lead home in the final matches it's his own fault  So props to Mark for turning it around big time.I'd watch a second season should they decide to do one. | ||

Anyway, I have to say that I agree that the show was cheesy and it definitely loses points for being console only and ignoring the most skillful games like SCBW and RTS + PC games in general ... I still thought it was awesome. I also think it will promote eSports, not hinder them. As a little bit older person, I also have to say I can't believe how retarded people are on this forum and in general in gaming communities. It's nothing new and has always been this way because of anonymity. Still, it just blows my mind how people get their kicks from disrespecting others, cursing at them, making racist statements, calling people down because they aren't physically beautiful and all the rest of it. I don't care how much you can hide behind your keyboard ... have some integrity in everything you do in life! Don't get me wrong, I'm all for competition and getting pumped up over a challenge and some good-natured impersonal trash talking is great fun ... but many of you just let it get out of hand. Also, way to represent Athena! Geoff, you are an all around great guy and I'm glad you got this awesome break! I was a fan of the IN clan way back in the day. I think you were a member and that's where the first part of your name comes from. It's very impressive that you have such a complete package in that you are highly intelligent, you are skilled in debate, you have incredible skills at video games, you are in insane physical shape, and most of all you seem to have respect for people even though you will debate them into the ground when necessary.
