So for Christmas i'm trying to give my friend a hot pack. The stuff that progamers use in Korea to warm up their hands before a match (it heats up when you keep on squeezing them)

(there are many pictures on FiFO where Iris, and a lot of other progamers are pictured using the stuff)

anyone know where i can find them/buy them online?

In Hong Kong they sell them in convenient stores like 7-11, but that I'm in Canada...I don't know where to get one either. xD
Snowflakes in January, Heart warm like February, I wouldn't ordinarily..

If you're thinking of what I'm pretty sure you're thinking, then you can find them here
http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=pd_lpo_ix_dp_go_uk_us_en?keywords=hand warmer pack&tag=lpo_ixdpgoukusen-20&index=blended
or also at most Walgreens, CVS, or other pharmacy store. The packs normally only last about an hour so you'd either want to get a large pack of them or get the reusable ones (I've never had experience with the reusable ones so I'm not sure how good they are).

I've seen these also, but isn't it already hot as hell in those booths?

Is this for use around a computer, or just everyday use?

For 11$ you can get this USB hand warmer, just plug in, takes a few minutes but stays hot till you unplug it.

Also, how hard would you own with this if you got good at it?

Hands free mouse, 2 hands for macro, and fast micro with your finger.

i thought in the reusable ones, heat just comes out when you keep squeezing them - they have to be boiled/heated again before it can be reused?

You have to boil it to get the chemicals back normal again, then when you squeeze it heats again, never used one, I Dont know.

Try Academy, or any sporting good stores. They have it before the register or in camping/hunting.

Yeah I agree that you can find these items in camping stores/sections. I've seen people with them while camping in cold weather, although they are kinda dumb if you ask me.

I could use one of these, hate it when my fingers go numb. I think im going to go try one of those reusable ones. The usb warmer says only up to 50 degrees, is that celcius or Fahrenheit?

*off topic: does anyone have that finger mouse?

How are they dumb? Extremities are the first to get cold and when you're hiking, its nice to be able to feel your hands and feet.

They usually sell the one-time use hand warmers for about $3-4 at most hiking or sports stores.

If your extremities are getting cold, put a hat on, wear warmer clothing, etc. As a last ditch effort, maybe hand warmers can be helpful, but you shouldn't rely on them to stay warm (this is coming from the perspective of cold weather hiking/camping).

I'm gonna have to side with micronesia on this one. While they do keep your hands warm sometimes, they're more of a gimmick than anything else. If you were serious about keeping your hands warm, you would wear heavier gloves, not buy 3 for a dollar hand warmers.

I remember that my local golf course had them for those crazy old Korean men who play golf in ridiculously cold weather -_-

If there's a golf course nearby then try there; they might have it if the course hasn't closed down for the year already -_-
