aaaaaa Totally. SO mainstream. If you like movies that critics like you should probably just go mix yourself up a nice bleach cocktail. My favorite movie is The Slingshot by Åke Sandgren. Bet you've never heard of it! Know why? Because it's obscure and quirky. I'm a real movie fan, not like those mainstream assholes. lol, idiot. sar·casm /ˈsɑrkæzəm/[sahr-kaz-uhm] –noun 1. harsh or bitter derision or irony. 2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms. do you enjoy making a fool of yourself?

The Departed was dumb you knew exactly what the ending was going to be 30 minutes into the movie.

Lose the insults. It only makes you look like an idiot, especially when the comment went right over your head.

Well... you can only judge a critic based on how closely his review would match your own...
300 a FIVE!? and National Treasure a FOUR!?
Even if you were just giving 300 a throwaway 5 for its quirky over-the-top-ness, giving National Treasure a 4 or higher is INSANE. That probably lost you half your potential audience, the other half gaping at the 5 you gave Transformers I'm sure.

Ahhh geez. I accidentally clicked the spoiler tag. I thought that was where his ratings of the other movies were. I was looking through the thread, saw some of the "rating disputes" and decided to check it out myself. I clicked the spoiler tag.
Might as well just F10 + E + S + Q on life.

that spoiler was a killer spoiler compared to other spoilers on tl :{
needs more warnings >:[

fuck i clicked on the spoiler
fuck

having read the book - and assuming this movie is even remotely based on it - i think the spoiler could have been much worse

The Departed was intense, I liked it.. will try Transformers asap.

The Mummy series: 3 Transformers: 5 Next: 2 Resident Evil series: 2 National Treasure: 4 The Departed: 5 300: 5
Whaaat...?
First of all, the Mummy series is a 5. Second of all, Transformers has was so ridiculously awful and I even liked the transformers: beast wars. I downloaded the movie at high speed and still somehow feel like I got ripped off after watching it. The movie was so bad that even that really, really hot girl couldn't save it. Sheesh. I'll stay away from 300.

I've actually read the book which I enjoyed after watching the 2nd adaptation of this movie, "the omega man" with Charlton Heston. I read the book almost by accident and while reading it I realized I had seen the movie based on it.
I am looking forward to this movie except I won't watch it in the cinema. I will wait till its out in video. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Legend (the original novel/book)

Infernal Affairs > The Departed, so theres no way The Departed can get a 5/5 . 300 wasn't a very good movie despite having nice action and all the manly men like it, however that doesn't make it a good movie.
National Treasure a 4 is a joke... =\ .
Anyways.
