And the zombies sucked. Super strength? Really? They were just presented in a way that completely ruined any affect they might've had. Everything before he went stupid (confronted the zombies and got miraculously saved) was 10/10 and then it just went down hill. I guess it's supposed to go like this: -Everything is destroyed -He is hopelessly fucked but holds on and tries his best to change things while going insane because he can't deal with his shitty existence. -???? -Miracle ...... | ||

I went into watching it without knowing what it was gonna be, just knew it was Smith's. When I heard screamings, I told my gf "YEaa~ zombies!" Yes it coulda been better, but still a great movie to me. | ||

I'm pretty sure they were mutants and not zombies (as they were in the Omega Man) which explains the enhanced strength, speed and the mutants' intelligence (setting the trap). | ||

The movie is typical hollywood sub par movie. A generic end world vs zombies type movie. The stupidest things to me about it are all those wonderfully directed dark scenes where you can't see shit except random flashes of images from a flashlight or whatever and just hear sound. Why the fuck do directors do this, to save money? It sucks you douche. The second thing that was hugely annoying is the fact that he is basically king of new york with food, mansion, companion(pet), weapons, cars, jets (albeit maybe he cant fly it), an entire research lab with drugs and chemicals, a routine including a workout, and hes gone crazy in 3 years??? That is just ridiculous to believe. PS- Why the fuck does he watch Shrek over and over? He can surely get his hands on other movies that don't suck. What, they don't have blockbuster in NY? I also find it pretty hard to believe that there was a colony a couple hundred miles south and they never bothered to go to MAJOR cities and look for any survivors with a radio or whatever. The ending was shitty as hell too, Its already bad enough the he just so happens to be a pathologist, a general in the marines or whatever, in the .5% of people not affected, but he finds a cure and makes the 'ultimate sacrifice' when he doesn't even need to? thats not cliche at all. I give the movie a 4 or 5/10 | ||

What an awesome idea for a movie this was!! They also did a great job making the dark seekers terrifying. I just think they should of kept the premise that Will Smith was the ONLY guy left on earth. Once they brought in the woman and the kid it kind of ruined it. still though... definately worth seeing. | ||

Sometime in the past, Neville placed it in front of one of his own traps then abandoned it. He eventually forgets about it and is caught in his own trap. 2) The Dark Seekers set up the trap for Neville. When Neville captured the alpha female Dark Seeker, the alpha male saw and was noticeably angry. He copied Neville's trap design, using Fred as the bait. When Neville saw Fred, he thought that he saw his head move, which caused him to breakdown and approach after he shot him. Then Neville stepped directly into the hidden snare trap that the alpha male set up, which knocked him out. How can you not like the scene where he goes after the dog in the dark building? It was perfect to be honest since it felt realistic. There was no music in the background and you can hear how hard he was breathing. I do admit that they should have made the dark seekers more scary but they pretty much look like the robots in iRobot, but with flesh. As for the survivor colony, don't you think it's a stupid and risky idea to go search for survivors in other cities? Sure they can do it in the day time, but when it becomes night time they're screwed. Unless they have that armored vehicle like the one in Land of the Dead. How do we know he watches Shrek over and over? He just said he loves Shrek, which doesn't mean he watches it all the time since we see him going to the movie store picking out other movies. The ending would have been changed I do agree, but he did say that they won't stop chasing after them since they want Neville because he took the female dark seeker. A grenade takes about 3-5 seconds to explode I think, but I doubt he can throw the grenade and jump right into the chimneyish door. Also it's called " I Am Legend" for a reason since he has to die to become a legend, which is the savior of mankind. One of my biggest question is how will they treat all the infected now they have the cure? | ||

Blank screen with just sounds for 3 minutes is just bad directing no matter how you look at it. I Robot fucking sucked, just like this movie. Good comparison there. In the last scene you can see they have some form of military, I'm pretty sure they have tanks and aircraft.. Which brings to the other point, wouldn't they want to go to major cities not only for survivor search but for scavenging and resource gathering? Yes, he watches Shrek over and over because he knows the entire dialogue (why does firefox think dialogue is incorrect spelling?) of the scene the boy is watching, and for all we know the entire movie as well. When does he go pick movies out? No one says he has to throw a grenade all he has to do is get in the chimney or whatever that was. What's wrong with watching a movie you like a lot? i've watched the lord of the rings series probably 10 times, and it's not like new movies came out in the last 3 years for him to watch And they clearly would have seen him get into the chimney, how would that have helped? why would they need to go scavenging and resource gathering when they were clearly surviving perfectly fine in their safe haven? they had no reason to think that anyone else survived for that long anywhere | ||
