one of the most beautiful songs i've heard in a while. Tiger JK made this video himself with a budget of just around $700. you can really feel the emotion in his voice.
the song is about his grandmother who recently passed away. she was his caretaker when he was younger. it also reflects his passion and love for music.

Hm, I guess the 700$ budget wasn't that hard considering he didn't use any props in his video since he was playing air instruments all the time. Even though i don't understand korean, i felt that he did really put all his emotion into this song.

That's most probably not the video in itself, it's the convertion that have made the vid and sound not sync.

I just meant that I didn't think a voice like that would be coming out of that face. It's kind of a rough masculine voice, not what I expected.
As of 2006, JK was diagnosed with myelitis. JK first learned of his myelitis in March 2005. Although his affliction threatened to hold him back, he was able to feature on Psy’s recent album. He also launched his own fashion brand, Lungta, which showed his extreme dedication to his work. He also collaborated with Korean superstar Rain in the song "Friends" off of Rain's new CD Rain's World.
Tiger JK also recently released a new album titled "Sky is the Limit" (September 2007). It features multiple Korean artists including Ann, T, Double K, DOK 2, Bizzy, and TEBY. The Intro track is titled Sky is the Limit and is a remix of clips from multiple songs that were successful in his career. His 7th album also has strong influences from reggae and African music and is similar to his 6th album. The album's first title song, "8:45 Heaven," was inspired by the death of his late grandmother, who passed during the recording of the 7th album.
On October 22nd, Tiger JK posted his first message to Drunken Camp members and US DT fans. Though brief, JK's activism on Camp will allow for fans to post questions/messages to him. Below is what was written, as well as a direct link for fans to respond:

he switches back and forth from english to korean and at several points he switches from english to korean and the first korean word he says is 니가 which sounds like NIGGA

Ehh, I think alot of those mistakes are due to his dancing. I agree he does show some inconsistencies thoguh. Some days he doesn't make any mistakes, but other times you can clearly see his struggling to hit the high notes. Overall, his a great performer and better than most people live.
About taebin, he can rap but his singing is pretty average. All his songs are generally pretty low key. I suspect his range is limited. He does sing well, but the difficulty of his songs are a step below people like wheesung, kim bum soo, park hyo shin, etc.

In my opinion Tei is the best singer. He just has amazing pitch and range, and a truly "masculine" voice.
if you guys like this sort of music the Street Fighter Animated Movie has a beautiful song during the fight scene between Chun Li and Vega (AKA Balrog)... the song is only in the Japanese version though the English sub has some dance music. unfortunately i have no idea who it's by or where to hear the full version online:

yeah, i didnt mean i thought taebin was the best singer, but rather a person that can rap and sing well in general.
Tei is definately good, his voice is really husky which leads towards his more masculine voice. I'm really into korean singers that have a big range and i dunno why but i like sexy runs. If they can sing a rnb song with really good smooth runs then i'll usually like them. Examples of some of my favorite singers are Hwanhee from fly to the sky, kwill, yoon min soo from vibe, kim bum soo, and brown eyes ;D
