I was in atlantic city with a couple of friends and my parents, my friend who is like 26ish, let me borrow his ID to go into the casino I wasn't expecting to get in. But the guy didn't even ask for my ID. So I got in with ease. I spent about 2 hours in the slot machines and my overall gain/loss was 0 came right about even. I decided to press my luck with the cards, the guy asked me for my ID before I sat down, and since my friend and I look pretty similar the guy said ok. So I began to play then about 10 minutes later another guy walked by, I think he was like the pitt boss or something walked by me and asked to see my ID. I showed it to him and then he handed back my ID, gave me a bad look, and then left. Some time went by maybe another 15 minutes and I was up about $120 in blackjack. Then again yet another guy happen to come by me and ask me for my ID again. I was getting impatient and bravely said is there a problem, and he told me to stand up looking at my ID. He then said come with me, this guy was a little bit more important then the other guys...
Maybe b/c he as an FBI agent working with the casino or something lol. :p
When he pulled me aside he asked me "Is this really you?" He has a big guy and I weighed my options to lie or tell the truth.
I replied "the other guys have asked me that and they let me play, why is there a problem?"
then he replied "that's not what I asked you, I asked you is this really you?"
I delayed asnwering that question for a good 3-4 minutes and finally said "no." haha I pussied out. :p Then we took a field trip to the "back dark rooms" that I only thought they had for TV series but they really exist! Who knew!?
The guy showed me his FBI badge and the only thing that could go to my mind was a simplem but yet descriptive word that compressed all my feelings into one, that of which being "fuck!
".
I squeeled like a pig being raped in the ass. I gave them my real name, real address, and the school I went to. Honesty paid off thou,
haha honesty... the guy said that he could of sent me directly to juvee if he wanted too but he said he was going to let me off with a simple warning. If this happens again he said in ANY casino before I turn 21 I will go to juvee for quite some time.
I never got that ID back and my friend was pretty pissed at me for being an idiot "handing" myself over the the blackjack tables instead of having fun in the slots. I offered him the $120 I won, but he said that's ok. and so I kept the money. My dad just gave me a small lecture, my mom doesn't know. After that incident I went to the beach and chilled out with my friends. All in all it was worth the $120 haha.
I was 17 when that happened so I think that's why he went easy on me. But 2 more years from now and I can gamble "legally".
Good story?
Lesson learned thou for me and you.
