Lots of people use it as sort of a resume/CV type of thing. Just Google a bit about having a personal website, I'm sure there's loads of ideas.

In a practical sense, yes. That being said, it's a "giveaway" which lets the organizers bypass "gambling laws." At least I'm pretty sure that's how it works out, but if someone knows better, lemme know.

There are games that pay DH to be hosted there and games DH host themselves. They are very different things even if they might look the same from the outside. I don't know about this specific case though.

CS:GO team is complete bullshit right now and DotA 2 team(while it lasted) hasn't really performed that good either. Don't know about other teams but yeah, they gotta fix the existing teams before announcing a new one.

DreamHack is a 3-day event where the hotels are very experience. You'd arrive the day before the tournaments and you'd be travelling home the day after, so you'd need 4 nights of hotel. The hotels at DreamHack are somewhere between $150-200 a night for anything that's remotely decent in the area that's not outside of the city. In addition, the ticket to DreamHack costs roughly $70 (it might be a little lower now that the dollar has become stronger), but in addition to that we'd get you access to hang out with us in backstage spaces, go on stage and whatnot. Lastly, depending on where in Europe you'd be from for this trip it could cost anything from $100 to $500. The average price I'd total up a little bit above what you're saying, and now you can times that by two due to us doing the exact same thing in the United States for the LCS. Now, that is one day shorter, but the hotels are also more pricey in Santa Monica.
