And I still like NS's graphic more :/ What I don't get mostly tho, is that you praise Berserk so highly (which is undoubtedly a godly anime and an even godlier manga) but don't like Ninja Scroll? Uhh, NS and Berserk are one and the same in coolness, both main characters are absolutely awesome. To continue the list I'd have to add Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop there, both for the excellent detail of characters and plot, as well as the fun "mood" of both series. Then of course Golden Boy and GTO - also kinda in the same boat, both have this great feeling of... extraordinary ordinary life. Great, great stuff out there to watch, I kinda feel envious towards people who haven't watched much anime yet - there's SO many great pieces yet for them to discover, hummm... -Mynock | ||

2. Rurouni Kenshin TV (The Trust/Betrayel OVAs ironically rank among the worst anime I have seen..... the manga version of that story is sooo much better even) 3. His and Her Circumstance (aka Kare Kano). Notable mentions: Spiral (if only the ending didn't suck.....though the explanations for loose ends one can pull out of the air for things can be funny ^^), Crest/Banner of the stars (a bit slow at time though...), and Yu-Gi-Oh (oh, not that one on TV - I'm talking about the actual good dub and story re-write that was made, for those that still haven't seen it: ). | ||

1. Turn A Gundam It's just too unique. Charaters and story is so amazing. Not to mention that it's funny. The song "Moon" is probably the best gundam theme song ever. No shame to 20 year anniversary Gundam ! (though I would liked to see more connections with older gundams)+ Show Spoiler + Missile launcher malfunctioning? No problem!! Just grab the missle and throw it at the enemy!! Fighting MS with a cannon ball? No problem!! Though the cannon ball might just land a meter in front of the MS and bounce up high in the air alerting the enemy. Your Gundam's head fell off during the battle because of half ass maintenance? No problem!! Just screw it back on during the battle!! 2. Z Gundam This is a really solid gundam show. I just like it over the first and ZZ because of the MS design (Z and Hyakushiki are too cool ><!). And it's an allstar featuring a lot of the UC casts :D. Not much funny stuff though =x. 3. W Gundam I'm weird. I like weird characters. Some says even women watch this show just because of the political and confusing story. To me that's just BS. + Show Spoiler + Featuring Crazy double personality lady. Crazy suicidal self-destructing killing machine. Crazy rich kid who becomes insane when pissed. Crazy war fetish double layer eyeblow girl. Crazy idealistic girl who got fetish for ppl trying to kill her. Hornorable Mentions G Gundam Gundam + DBZ!! This is again so unique, it's hard to compare this with the other Gundams. But it is funny + Show Spoiler + Losing a battle? No problem!! Just yell out of your lungs, and energy will materialize and shoot out from your Gundam's fist. What is Neo America's final weapon? Statue of Liberty Cannon!!! New age female bot! One and only, the sailor moon (noble) gundam! How do you beat the last enemy? LOVE LOVE Tenkyoukeeeen!! Gundam Seed Destiny Seed was good, But to appreciate this half ass story unsatisfactory character development sequal, one must realize this Gundam is all about making money and good laugh. I'm pretty sure that Seed Destiny was meant to be a comedy. Because of the fact that they don't even try to hide the parody, they are presented so openly. + Show Spoiler + Zaku! They are back! Goofu! THEY ARE BACK! "It's different. It is different from ZAKU!!!~~" ROFL! OMG DOM (TROOPERS)!! They are back, too! "JET STREAM ATTACK!!" WTF ROFLMAO! -> Seriously laughed hard. GOLDEN mobile suit with BEAM COARING? Piloted by a character who JUST LOST his MASK? We haven't seen that before!!! With all of the above. OF COURSE Kira would get funnel! | ||

At this time I was still renting the videos and not downloading them, so maybe I should check it out. 0083: Personal favorite. The director keeps producing quality series after quality series (macross plus, this, bebop, etc) 08MS platoon: back to gundam roots. No eye candy is thnx. F91: I want to watch this :O Gyakushuu no Char: I should watch it but I never got around to it. Not sure if i want to go back and watch the original, Z, ZZ, and 0080... seems like it's be such a hassle and playing pretty much all the SRW's since SRWEX has given me a decent idea about the plot ~_~ So the ones I have seen are Seed, X, Wing, V, G, 0083. Really bad b/c I should watch the UC ones... I'd rank them like this. 1) 0083 2) V 3) G <-- this is only here b/c of childhood memories of the show. For an objective "gundam" ranking, I'd put it at the bottom. 4) Wing 5) Seed 6) X edit: + Show Spoiler + haha I was liek "wtf why is a guy who has seen Z rank G, Seed, and Wing so high... then I read the spoilers and it made sense I guess -___- I never saw Seed D but... wtf they used THAT many oldschool references? did they use 「ザクとは違うのだよ！ザクとは！」from whoever it was back in UC? :O G - I wanted to just stop watching when that occurred in the last ep T_T. On a side note, touhoufuhai is so hilarious.  | ||
