Which is likely why they deleted the social media posts soon after the news was released. One thing is for sure, the plane did not fall from the sky for no reason.

Yea ofc. No one shoots at a civilian airplane volountarily, but they could have mistaken it for an ukrainian plane. After all, they did boast about shooting down a cargo plane.

The Ukraine thread was ultimately locked because the discussion could not remain civil no matter how much we tried to steer it in the right direction. Unfortunately, the same rules have to apply here.
