Using religion to further your political agenda shouldn't be allowed. It's why ppl blow themselves up, it is infuriating. Provide a rational argument, not some bullshit about what some1 supposedly said some 2000 years ago. It isn't justification? Who are you to decide whether or not that is justification? Just because you don't believe the same way someone else does, doesn't mean that they are wrong. As far as people blowing themselves up, I don't think it is actually religion that is causing that. It's the crazy people that attempt to use religion as an excuse. I am quite sure most of the people who share the same religion as suicide bombers are very much against suicide bombing.

Who are you, or they, to decide that it is? Until anything else is proven there are no gods, and putting your faith into a nonexistent entity is total bogus. It's NO BETTER than asking a child who broke the window and getting told that Teddy Ruxpin did it. They are literally asking a magical sky fairy if other people should be able to get married here. How is that okay? It's fine if they want to do it. They have a right to be insane. But we shouldn't allow "becuz gawd sed eet!" to be an acceptable excuse ever, because it's not in any way responsible to the human race to say that. And I'll stop now because I don't want to get permbanned for talking too much about religion ![]()

Don't people realize that jobs use social media when looking to hire new employees? Talk about making sure you don't get hired any time soon for a serious position. Also, please don't be ignorant. All black people are lazy = all hateful stupid people are Christians. You may not be judging them based on the color of their skin but you might as well be. You know nothing of those people let alone the 2 billion Christians or 1.6 billion Islams. Ignorance is like the sea, it's everywhere, and just because you find yourself surrounded by it does not mean you have to drink from it.

Consider my gears ground. The responses were entertaining though, and gave me a little faith in humanity. Now to check out the other two links.

People who use God/religion as an argument. Those links were very rage-inducing btw lol. People who ring my doorbell trying to sell me new windows. People who, when asked multiple times by the teacher to be quiet, continue to talk anyways. People who, after asking multiple times for a student to be quiet, ask again. People who do not care what happens to others as a result of their actions.* *This one I would like to explain. The amount of rudeness and discourteousness that plagues society today is ridiculous. When somebody steps on the back of my shoes in the hallway, I barely ever hear an "Oh, I'm sorry" from them. These people need to learn how to conduct oneself properly in public. As a strong advocate for courtesy, I despise people who act discourteous and rude to others. I wish I had teachers who warned you once, and then shot you in the face for talking again lol. Ok, maybe not that far, but something more extreme than doing nothing to repeat offenders.

"I gives no fucks," or "I can has," or "I has xyz." Stupid. I'd actually expand that to say that it's a mild irritation when people bring the internet culture into pop culture at all. I think it's because I was part of it when it was all really starting to bloom, and these people are just riding the waves of popularity, and in some sense I feel like they're stealing from us. It's like when your favorite band sells out to make some crappy music for a couple of albums, and everyone loves them and is a bigger fan of them than you are. The internet used to feel like a secretive club to me, where inside jokes came about very rarely, and meeting someone who knew what you were talking about was kind of exciting... now, ever asshole on the planet knows what a lolcat is, and they tell me about it as I haven't seen this stuff since its inception, practically. I guess it's just a part of me that felt like there was a real sense of community and belonging, and everyone being in on it has kind of killed that feeling for me. Thank you so much for writing this. You vocalized exactly how I feel but could never put words to it. It's like how I feel about Gagnam style. It was kind of funny when I first saw it when it was new, but then it blew up and everyone knew about it and I started despising the song. Like you said, it's something that I felt was part of our community and in a way belonged to us, and now I feel betrayed because of its popularity.

I know some people like that. Although religion is the most abundant argument for being pro-life, it is not the only one. Abortion is kind of a tricky topic to mix in with religion, because you can still be pro-life, and be that way for non-religious reasons, as you are. Still, the vast reason for people arguing for people to stop "baby-killing" is because they feel that the fetus is losing its soul (or something like that. Boy that sounded really ignorant lol), which corresponds to religion mainly.

That, and the constant appeal to the lowest common denominator, I don't like my job. That is a major issue in so many places. You're not going to get away from it. It starts in grammar school and never stops. Quite pathetic, really, but it's something that isn't going away. It's just unreal. Some of them were like "Why didn't they shoot down the planes when they were turning around?" REALLY? Why didn't they shoot down a plane doing something that was probably pretty fucking routine, like returning to where they launched from, full of normal-ass passengers? Yeah, I'm sure there's no hindsight involved in that thought. And, no, plane parts falling out of the sky would not have hurt ANYONE on the ground... fucking morons. And they're all Illuminati believers too. I understand disagreeing with the general political shift the world (and especially the USA) is undergoing; I disagree with the majority of it, personally. But why does this have to be conspiracy driven? Why can't it just be that the people whose point of view is different than yours actually outnumber the people with your belief system? People are way too full of themselves and their opinions.

People who are clueless about drugs and tell you every chance they get that they are harmless and ignore any evidence to the contrary. There's a difference between thinking marijuana should be legalized and talking out of your ass about every drug on the planet. Reddit Edition (As seen on page 73) YEAH LOL LET'S HATE CHRISTIANS FOR THEIR BELIEFS. SURE IS COOL IN HERE. You're not convincing anyone of anything you're just being as bad and snobby as them. In my life I've turned a few people away from a life of faith because I saw it was destroying them. What did it take? Patience. Understanding. Sympathy. What does /r/athiests have? A juvenile superiority complex and farts that smell like rosewater. If you want to get off on yourself go buy a tube of KY jelly and stand in front of the mirror. Television Edition Every political commercial from the last year. Enough said. Real Life Edition The cold snap stunted my cayenne peppers and they're never going to grow to maturity now. Grrrr
