 .Seriously though, I wonder how much time he spends playing video games. I think it's a very bad thing if he's gaming a lot (e.g. if 90% of his free time is spent gaming). Your childhood years should be a time where you develop the physical and mental foundation for the rest of your life. If he spends most or all his time gaming, physically he'll be in terrible shape and it could be a heavy burden on him later in life. Especially if he doesn't watch his posture and doesn't take enough breaks. | ||

And why isnt there a first person VOD of him playing. I have a difficult time picturing his hands being able to melee and throw nades. He definitely has to use the small XBox controllers as well. And that Ogre person he mentions has never even gotten into the finals for the USA...so I think we are not getting a real picture of his skills. He might be really good for his age, but he is still a little kid. He might very well become one of the best in the world, but by that time halo 2 wont even be played and XBox will be outdated. | ||

Next year Halo 2 is outdated, more than likely. Ogre1 and Ogre2 were supposed to be pretty top players back in the day, that's what someone else here said a long time ago (asking for info on Halo), but they were double team players. At any rate, that's exactly my point on this kid: he's never won anything. They're hyping him because he's a little kid that plays games, just like those gamer girls that there was a thread on not that long ago. They suck, compared to top players, but they are still made a big deal out of. | ||
