-Terraworld autoclicker (lol 3000 squids to cook... srsly?); also was banned for supposed speedhack, which was in reality just lag, but the serveradmin (FVANtom, you're still an awesome headadmin though!) thought I hacked "yea sure.. that was hack, don't lie". Oh man I was so pissed off, t'was my first real life lesson: life isn't fair.
-Tons of SP games where the game got bugged/retardedly impossible.
No online hacks though... every time I see a hacker in online FPS games I just die a little inside.. Why would you play fcking online if you just want to hack? (ok if the game has already pissed you off, it's kind of reasonable to just dick around a bit lulz).
Aimbotted in a lottta shooters, can't see the appeal of doing the same in other genres (maphacking, etc).
Aimbotting feels like doing roids or something, makes you feel pro without working for it. Maphacking just feels like changing the board when the other guy isn't looking in chess or something lol. No thrill :/
I picked "Yes and Continue to do so" because I use maphacks in Diablo 2 when I play, which is every 6 months or year I'll start up a new account. I would never use a hack to harm another player or give myself an advantage over them when playing against them.
I don't lose satisfaction from it, it doesn't hurt anyone and it makes the game easier in a good way. Not like, "I use wall hacks and now I just kill people through walls and go like 30-11 on cs_office." It's more like, "OMFG I have to do like 1000 Mephisto runs to try and get shit to trade and I might not get any and enemies 1 shot me when I teleport into them and it takes like 10 minutes to find the Durance level 3 every time."
It doesn't hurt people, but it helps me find gear faster and find tristram or throne of destruction, or whatever for my party faster.

Also I suck at shooters :x.
it's nothing like steroids, people that do steroids still work just as hard, if not harder than everyone else in the gym.
aimbotting is magically getting shredded
ot: never hacked, but used a guide book to figure out how to get chaos chaos in sa2:b
Hacks? Fuck no, shits for pussies. Cheat codes for the BW campaign when I was like 7? For sures! Map hacks and that type of stuff isn't appealing because it only yields wins, but no true improvement. Why bother? Seems pointless (in RTS games at least)

Then archaeology/fishing/leveling bot in Cata along with about 40% of the population.
Nothing that ever affected other people though, like PvPing or auctions or speed hacking. Just extra prep for raiding, because the rest of WoW is an extremely tedious and dull game.
We got flamed for it but the idea that there was a moral aspect was pretty ridiculous. It had zero impact on the server outside of saving us a few hours, and all of our serious raiding was being monitored by GMs. We knew what the rules were and decided it was worth it to break them, so no one complained about getting caught. And we had a lot of sympathy from the other top raiding guilds who knew and felt the stupidity of Blizzard's Atiesh setup.
Never done it against another person though.
Oh god, I remember that. You guys were on Kor'gath, right?
We were on Black Dragonflight when it happened. Furor's (the guy that the Quel'Serrar quest book is named after) clan, FoH, was on the server and I guess he wasn't too happy about us stealing their thunder (and players) so we got extra special attention paid. o.o
After the ban we started over on Korgath. PvPing in greens and blues was a lot more fun.

i brang something like this up in the op with the social skills / life crap.
I'll say this to everyone, if u cant see im ONLY talking about when it directly impacts on anothers gameplay experience etc and you know full well your doing it.
If you dont realise that and bash me for saying it, feel free to facepalm yourselves!
And no, sorry but skipping raid trash doesnt count because anyone who is seriously effected by that is dumb. Sure it shouldnt be done, mildly annoying to you..seriously affecting your own gaming? nuh-uh
Jibba you bad bad man. :D
I added it in because of the reaction after the ban, not because of you. Some people were saying we should go to jail for breaking the ToS. LOL
Hmm I haven't used hacks in an online multiplayer game, but I have used hacks on various pieces of software. There is always a special place in my heart for some XSS. Back when I was younger I used to be a pretty dark grey-hat (pretty much a black hat but I used to notify some vendors XD) but nowadays I'm fairly relinquished to being a white hat exclusively. Rooting a system was like a game to me, but I guess i sorta grew out of it.
besides screwing with diablo 2 like half of everyones done, i tried an aimbot on counterstrike 1.6 and took a 4 year ban on VAC servers. luckily for me if i had done that the next day, i would have gotten slammed by the perma ban policy that was instated at that time.
also maplestory but it was mostly just to troll others. me and a friend went in blatantly cheating (i even used the name iHack) and screwing with people all over the place. my friend got banned within the first day, and to this point iHack is still a character in good standing, i think this was in ninth grade so 6 years ago give or take.
Never. Only scum of the universe does that. I've exploited bugs in games (kinda like drone drill) but like never done anything that was game threatening (i.e. map hack)
haha a few friends and I found some free aimbots for CSS and went around and actually used them in a scrim against some other friends and then they realized it pretty easily and busted out some way better hacks than what we had

I remember accidently taking a screen shot of the autobuyer and posting in my page. Needless to say someone found it and about 30 different threads went up screaming blood murder, as I was kind of a big name in Neopets. (God that sounds so pathetic)
Haven't touched crap like that sense. Only cheats I use are in singleplayer when I'm bored
You bastard. I RS'ed my soul out the right way and still only made a few mil.
I was always convinced most of the big names used autobuyers though, lol. Did the threads go up in the BD board? Hahahaha, oh god, that was the shit.
The only cheat I ever did for multiplayer (sort of) was using Rare Candy cheats (Cinnabar Island, PC duplication, etc.) in Pokemon to get Lvl 100 Pokemon and using them in fights with my friends.
Doing that is kind of pointless... no? You can make pokemon that can one hit theirs in some instances if you lvl'd up normally...+more stats in average They changed the way it works every now and then. If you're playing that version... try this Substitute --> Amnesia--> Amnesia --> Recovery ---> Substitute ---> Amnesia ---> Amnesia ---> attack them ---> Substitute---> Recovery ---> Amnesia ---> attack them ( stop using Amnesia ) you can wipe them out like that....
