Edit: Source http://au.movies.ign.com/articles/112/1126156p1.html According to Deadline, Raimi has chosen to make the Wizard of Oz prequel Oz The Great And Powerful his next picture instead of the Warcraft game-to-film adaptation he's been developing with Legendary Pictures for awhile now. The longer it is pushed back the more likely it wont get made, Warcraft ain't getting more popular with time. | ||

But there's been so little progress on this project I'm kinda doubting it'll ever get made. I guess that, game or movie, a blizzard project is a blizzard project, with all that entails. To be honest I fail to see how any film could be cooler then their CG cinematics: | ||

It was so ridiculously bad that I instantly changed to the english version. I will be laughing if the voices are equally bad in this movie but I still have my hopes up. | ||

That gives people the background of the entire conflict at the core of the universe and avoids any of the expansion shit. One thing working in the movies favor is the fact that Blizzard, imo, has by far and away the best voice acting and cinematics for their games. That may translate to some good scenes/actors in the movie. My fav cinematic they ever did was the BW intro. | ||
