What comes first? 3 ingredients
- Coke / Soda / any sparkling water , or - the Juice?
Bonus Points: - Fruit pieces (not outside or not on top) - The alcohol
State the exact order. FYI: Talking of any mix drink, I know that fruit that are supposed to show (like a slice of lemon) come last of course (otherwise you may spill on them, or color them too early).
~Thank you~

uhhh... if I make a cuba libre I usually go
1. Coke 2. Rum 3. Lime Juice 4. Garnish with sad crushed lime.
But I'm a savage and I really just drink for the alcoholism of it so.

Depends if fruit is part of the drink or more decorative
1. Ice 2. Fruit (as ingerdient. Caipi for example) 2.1 Crush 3. Alcohol 4. Juice / anything non-sparkling 5. Coke/ Soda / anything sparkling 6. Fruit (decorative/ swimming)
Edit: For cocktails in a shaker, crushed ice usually comes at the end. For longdrinks ice cubes are first in my experience
Edit: How did I do?

Ice, then rum, then lime/lemon juice (if using), then coke, and garnish with lime/lemon.
Caipirinha: 1. crush lime and sugar together 2. add ice 3. cachaça 4. fill with water (only if you're a pussy)
That's all I really know. I can make mojitos too, but wouldn't claim to do it the "right way".
So I mean... in general the answer appears to be there is no fixed order and it depends on the drink?
E: realized I had coke and juice in the wrong order... but mostly because I never have that on hand when I make rum and coke at home, so it's literally just rum and coke (and ice, duh).

~Thank you~ None of the above, it's a trick question, the answer is obviously the egg. Because it had to evolve into the chicken first.

Need a finnish person lol. Years ago someone told me that in finnish there is a suffix (I think?) that means something like "between four and ten". In context it was about a number of beers. Is that a thing? Do you know what they were talking about?

Ask Serral if he ever does an AMA!

Anyone wanna join our Diplomacy game? 2 spots left?
Hopefully this is a stupid enough question.

I'm a native speaker.

Damn it. Thanks for the answer

Why is publishing a children's book considered a literary achievement? My friend keeps beaming with pride about how hard it was to get her book published, but she didn't even do the illustration and the words are creatively bankrupt.
Here is an Excerpt of the "Book"
"The twins hopped on the bed" flip page "The twins fell on their head" flip page "The twins played Patty Cake" flip page "The twins baked a Cake"
|
Because it's literally a literary achievement?
|
Why would someone insult their friends book on a message board and down play their achievement? And it is hard to get get a children's book published or any book published, especially in today's world. A good friend would be proud and uplifting of their friends accomplishment.
|
Indeed. It might look simple, but the fact of the matter is that she convinced a publisher to put money into getting her book on the market, and not any of the hundreds of other childrens book scripts that they no doubt get sent constantly.
Something which you didn't achieve, and which you seem to be jealous about. If she is happy about it and beaming with pride, why do you want to disparage that and make her feel worse?

What is wrong with you? Why are you so jealous of a friend's achievement? She's clearly proud of herself, so why do you feel the need to put her down?

I always hear about people doing (hard) manual labor get issues. Especially back issues from beding; or joint issues. However, isn't what they're doing basically a workout? If they simply use correct posture, and dont overdo themselves, they should have ripped backs, no?

I think you already know why people doing (hard) manual labor get issues.
That said, a lot of people who do manual labor are quite strong, at least in my experience.

Manual labour is not a workout.
When you do a workout you don't do it for 8 hours a day for several continuous days with no rest days. Correct posture and not overdoing yourself is not always an option for manual labour. You will always strain yourself irregardless of correct posture. You also doing this as a leisure activity can stop or reduce intensity at any time and self regulate your pain and allow muscles and joints to heal for the needed amount of time. The body of someone who does a workout and someone who does hard manual labour are completely different.
